juno-ds ins def files
Hello, I downloaded the patch script/ins def files for the juno-ds from roland. Unfortunately, I found out that the file doesn't include the banks and patches for Expansion Pac 6, which automatically comes shipped with the Juno-ds. Does anyone have an updated file with exp 6 ppatches included, or is...

lol problem solved! Sometimes we overlook the smallest things! I wasn't looping back from sonar into the keyboard. I was only going one way from keyboard into sonar.

Re: Roland Juno DS88 USB Audio?

Thank you, I'm Even Roland confirmed that, but are they wrong? also gonna contact Roland today. This is a pretty serious issue for me because it's pretty much...

Re: Roland Juno DS88 USB Audio?
Well, I'm having the same issue with another roland keyboard that I just purchased, the E-A7 arranger. Since I can't use any usb drivers for windows xp, I'm using it in midi mode...and same issue. data, but no audio. I'm beginning to think that this a roland issue, because I recently was using an ol...

Roland E-A7
Hi, Is anyone on here using the E-A7 arranger? If so, I'm having difficulty using it with Sonar. I'm connecting via MIDI, and notes are being recorded, but I'm not getting any sound from the keyboard through Sonar. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

loading sample st into xv5080
Hi, I have a sample set on a smart media card that I've used years ago on an xv5080. I haven't used the 5080 in years and just recently picked another one up. I'm loading the sample set into the unit but can't, for the life of me, remember the steps to have everything from the card load automaticall...

Roland R8 Mk 2 with sonar and external midi controler
Hi, I'm trying to use the Roland R8 Mk 2 with sonar and am also trying to use a midi controler to trigger the sounds rather than the pads on the machine. The keys on the controler don't correspond with the pads: what I mean is that that the sounds that come up when I use the controler are much diffe...

xv5080
Hi, I've been posting in the xv section of this forum with no luck with responses. Roland has temporarily removed their patch script builder on the website. If anyone has an ins def file for the xv5080 and could somehow pass it along I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

srx and sr-jv80 cards
Hello, I just picked up an xv5080 and want to install as much sound via srx and sr-jv80 cards as possible. However, I also want to avoid spending money on redundancy. My question is: there are orchestral srx and sr-jv cards, and hip hop srx and sr-jv cards. If I get the srx versions of orchestral an...

Re: Roland R8 MK 2 vs Boss dr880
What I mean by fatter, for example: if you compare the 808 or any other kick out of the r8 with that of the boss, the r8 just sounds fuller/beefier.
