Re: V-Synth XT Screen Sticking
I've had a v-synth and a v-synth GT, which have had their screens treated fairly badly. They had water on the screens sometimes. Neither screen became faulty like that. I'm afraid it sounds like your touchscreen is probably broken. If it is water, then using a dehumidifier and dessicant in a sealed ...

Re: Some acoustic patches for V-synth GT
Hi. Those earlier links seem to have died, so here are some new ones. Does anyone know a file hosting service that doesn't suck? AUTOHARP: http://www.mediafire.com/?xnm944877xi4p87 OLD PIANO: http://www.mediafire.com/?zdp679055bwaf5s I hope those who did manage to download them earlier have found th...

Re: V-Synth Reverb Questions: Reproduction?
The EOS reverb plugin is pretty spacey. The Hall 1 is a modulated reverb. I think this is what gives it it's sound. I don't think any of the other reverbs do the same thing. The Roland DEP-5 is a bit like it, but more grainy. On the DEP-5 you can modulate reverb taps, or put a chorus after the reverb.

Some acoustic patches for V-synth GT
Hello. Here are some patches I have made for the V-synth GT. They are multisamples, so the files are rather large. I was experimenting with sampled acoustic sounds and variphrase, so I recorded my autoharp and my somewhat out of tune upright piano. There are some patches included with both, but they...

<r>There is another way too, if you want 88 or more sample zones. <br/> <br/> To multisample a piano, sample a chromatic scale, starting at middle C. Leave a little gap between each note. <br/> <br/> Then encode it as 'solo'. There should be a hit point at the start of each note. You might have to e...

<r>Thanks for putting them on the site, Artemio.<br/> <br/> One last thing... The touch pad, d-beam and two assignable controller knobs are not assigned anywhere on quite a few of the patches, so don't be surprised if using them doesn't do anything. <E>:)</E><br/> <br/> I tend to assign them last, o...

Some patches for you all.
<r>Hello.<br/> Here is a collection of VA patches I have made.<br/> They are for the V-Synth version 2 OS. It does not matter which sample set you have installed, as all the patches are virtual analog.<br/> <br/> There are 72 of them, ranging from the useful to the pointless.<br/> There are a couple...

Re: What should the VC-3 be?
<t>I'd love to see some physical modelling for the VC3.<br/> <br/> Not quite in the same way as has been done on the VL1 etc, but with the safety limitations removed.<br/> With models there is lots of delays, feedback and filters involved, and most modelling synths keep the parameters quite restrict...

<t>You could try assigning one of the common controls to the filter freq.<br/> <br/> If you want more range... Assign one of the two turny controls on the left of the v-synth to filter freq. Then assign the same one again in another slot.<br/> If you put both assignments to +64, and they both come f...

<r>"how do you turn the vari-phrase off"<br/> <br/> The 'v' button at the bottom left of the oscillator's main page turns variphrase on and off for that osc when using pcm samples. Re: VC3 - JV-1010
I think the VC3 card should have the models from the Roland FR-7 V-Accordion.
I find it almost impossible to do deep R'n'B and hip-hop without decent accordion sounds.
