Re: AOR Piano liveset 1528 has a "tink"....
This is just an observation...not a criticism of the Jupiter 50, but perhaps interesting... I observed a "tink" sounding on one note, the A-flat below middle C, as follows: I was playing Liveset 1528, AOR Piano. I narrowed the "tink" sound down to the SuperNatural synthesized to...

Re: Different sound on one note...
This is just an observation...not a criticism of the Jupiter, but perhaps interesting. Since my Jupiter 50 is related to the 80, I thought I'd ask my question here... I observed a "tink" sounding on one note, the A-flat below middle C, as follows: I was playing (Jupiter 50 numbering) Live...

Re: Roland WNA1100-RL - where to purchase?
What has gone almost under the radar (or is that wireless!!) - is an excellent feature of the iPad JP80 editor that I do not believe is available on the JP80 screen (though will be delighted to stand corrected on this if I'm ignorant of it)... Yes, I am happy to do this again (although I've describ...

Re: Anyone in the market for a super clean JP 80?
I have a super clean JP80 that I purchased brand new with the Roalnd stand. If anyone in the states is interested I will let both pieces go 2200.00. I have all the documentation and original boxes. The items never left my home. I'm from the state of Maine. If you are intersted you can drop me a lin...

...Finally, and last but not least, paying homage and respect to one of the Rock and Jazz/Funk greats. Thanks for the memories GD! GD3.jpeg I didn't know yet!.... and I've just heard before that George Duke died the 08/05/2013! What another huge loss for the world of music! Now he followed the othe...

....This time though, OP Kevin is not that keen on the Omnisphere 1.5. Overpriced and the UI is just not that intuitive and user-friendly according to him. Of course, the Dude would have to respond to Kevin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pWdd6_ZxX8c http://cdn.uproxx.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07...

Re: Jupiter 80 and step sequencer
...I sold my Roland V-synth GT around a year ago to get the Jupiter 80. I love the JP80 but I just took it for granted that the JP80 would have the same step sequencer creator and editor that the V-Synth had, am I the only one that really, really misses that sweet little editor from the V-Synth?......

Re: Drawbars???
Anybody? OK, as I have holdays... There are many E-Organ sounds (without drawbars) in the SN-Synth section, based on PCM samples and there is one single E-Organ tone in the SN-Acoustic section, the modeled TW-Organ (with drawbars), which is only accessible via the LiveSets. So choose one of the fou...

Re: Good Price for Jupiter 80?
... I went in to the shop with every prejudice about the synth I could imagine, wanting to hate it. When I started playing it, I realized that this is truly a beautiful instrument sonically and it is extremely powerful. Cello had mentioned that he finds it a very inspiring synth and one he would ne...

Re: Pulse Width Modulation / Knob E1-E4 assign
Dany, since you know and use both the D-50 and the Jupiter-80 I was hoping you could shed some light on how these two compare soundwise. Do you think the Jupiter-80 could basically recreate all sounds from the D-50? Or are there some sounds that would be difficult to reconstruct, e.g. due to separa...

Re: Jupiter 80 Discontinued?
Sounds to me like the Tech Manager doesn't understand it very well! Which admittedly is commonplace... Indeed... Contrary to my previously announced "last" post in another thread, I just can't help beeing completely inconsequent and quoting again my meanwhile fully discharged "GS pup...
