Can anyone here link me to a non-cracked source for the older version of RCM which will work on El Capitan?
The one downloadable from the Roland cloud website — which specifically indicates it is for OSX 9-13 — fails when trying to install.
Be forewarned! And thanks in advance if you can help.

Re: JD-08 Issues
Update: Received 2nd unit from retailer to replace first unit. 2nd unit has all of the same issues as the first unit. 4 brand new audio cables - all work with patches A11-88 and B11-18, doesnt work on B21-35. The cables work with the JU-06a with no issues. Internal speaker works for all patches. Sc...

Re: Xm is shipping...
I think at most it's going to be a quite subtle difference; ACB is for real tone fanatics, who are sensitive to every tiny nuance. Zen Core and the modeling on the new Jupiter X/Xm/Fantom/MC-707 is more than good enough for everyone else, and is barely discernible if at all in a live playing environ...

Re: New Boutique - JU-06A
I see updates for a number of the original Boutiques on Roland's website. Explicitly (Sep 2019) they're for better MIDI use with software, but perhaps they've improved whatever latency issues were originally present for some as well? I've never worried about the 4 voices; you get these things for th...

Re: Jupiter-X vs System 8
The proof is in the listening. The Model engines in the Jupiter X will be different from what I have in my System 8 and MC707, but I suspect they will be all most everyone but a few scope peepers on YouTube trying to make a name for themselves could ever want out of analogue classics recreations, an...

Re: Requests to Roland (official)
Definitely would love to see the VK Organ engine available (or Zen update of same). Further focus on plucked/string modeling. As with V-Synth, make the assignment of components/models in the architecture more apparent and assignable (next step beyond Structures). FM, at the NI FM-8 level of sophisti...

Re: system 8 owners
Here is an interesting conversation I was having with the Roland Cloud bunch on facebook. I will just add the critical comments from Roland Cloud...... My Question..... Ok, lets change the question slightly. When will the Jupiter and juno plug outs be available to purchase from the Content store? A...

Re: System-8 vs. JP-08
Don't forget of course that for the System 8 included plugins (Jupiter 8, Juno 106), there are later banks (G, H... I forget....) that are pretty exact recreations of the original instruments' factory presets, if you're looking for that. I'm not sure whether the other plugouts on the content store f...

Re: More plug-out synths coming?
It'll be a shame if they don't at least make a JX-3P plugout available. I know I am in the minority, but I don't really care much about the Jupiter-8 plugout. I really want the Juno-106 and JX-3P , however. An SH-2 would be icing on the cake, as I could retire my System-1 in that case. An Alpha-Jun...

Windows, both 32 and 64 bit versions (VST2 and VST3). And it's identified as version 1.06.

Re: SH-101 Plug Out
The SH-101 PlugOut is up on the Roland US site now, officially, and in the content store. Warning, though: it requires uninstalling the previous version and installing the new version, and then has to be re-activated. And the bug they had at one point with the plugouts is back; it won't activate. Wa...

Re: SH-101 Plug Out
It's extremely rare for Roland to release anything, hardware or software, that is buggy enough to be missing documented functionality. I'm going to guess the "early release" of the SH-101 was a bit of an error, or maybe an unofficial "trial balloon" to get some field testing and ...

Re: JD-XA VS System 8
These kinds of pairings have been released by Roland for decades now. Back in 1997, it was the XP-80, and the JP-8000. One was the digital workstation, the other was the analog-modelled performance synth. Today, it's JD-XA taking the XP-80's place, and System-8 taking the JP-8000's place. Not exact ...
Re: System 8
It's clear finally that the support of the previous plug-outs will be available "soon," and the Juno 106 plugout which ships with the System-8 will be available (not clear from the product page, I guess as a VST?) "in 2017." I will wait until those goals have been achieved, and t...
