Re: Synth Legends new releases? Fraud?
It seems obvious that Roland is abandoning the Jupiter 80 and all it's users. Profits are better making small modular units and cheap workstations. Too bad ,the JU 80 has so much promise. Until someone comes up with the editor/librarian it's going to collect dust in most peoples gear locker. I use m...

Re: Reading Jupiter-80 sound sets on a PC/Mac
I would fork over $100.00 for a decent librarian for Ju 80.
After many hours of sorting out the reg's and getting "burned" by the dependancies
quirk! hours of wasted time ...
But it sounds too good to get rid of !!!

Re: I thought Roland was listening to us
I really love the JU 80 but the added patches are of no use in a "live" performance board . There are so many things to do with these sounds in a live situation for a performance board...strange point of view.. These added patches are not graven in granite so in fact there are many ways -...

I thought Roland was listening to us
I thought the mighty Roland Company was watching this board . Korg has updated their product (flagship) So why isn't Roland at least giving the Jupiter 80 users a little attention ? I really love the JU 80 but the added patches are of no use in a "live" performance board . Hopefully an Edi...

Re: Alesis iO Dock and JP-80/JP Editor
As much as I love Behringer stuff I have the iStudio dock and it works perfectly!!
edits and the knobs are tight. As far as the rest of the ipad apps i really must say this thing works better than the Alesis ..
It's kind of like the Kronos ...I love to hate it !!!

Re: JP80 - hugely disappointed with it.
As much as I have tried to not like the Kronos ..I can't .. It's a great board with a really shitty keybed ..paired with the Jupiter and an a-88 controller best of both worlds, as for the price ? I got mine (Kronos 73) for 1400.00 us. From a guy who read too much internet BS .. The Jupiter 80 is sti...

Re: Too Many Sounds ..Not Enough Memory Workaround
If the jupiter didn't sound so good this memory shortfall would put it on craigslist . Spending days gleening sounds off the usb is a real pain . Better spent creating new ones, but, the tones are the heart of them.. Memory upgrade and an editor HAS to be coming. if Scott Tibbs looks at this Forum g...

...Why, his famous "tilting at windmills" comment was so choice to me that it just had to become part of the latest Soundworld's tune's title! I've just listened to your new tracks! http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=948812 Outstanding! http://madisononthecheap.com/wp-cont...

Re: Synth Legends Collection - reviews
I guess this is going to be a tough room to please ? It will be many hours/days playing around with these patches .. Just another reason why the Jupiter 80 is going to be loved, hated and generally misunderstood! Great job Roland...They could have sold this , but like Omnisphere they decided that WE ...
