I am randomly having this problem again after replacing the mod wheel. Not sure what is causing it.

The FA is not an effective drum machine. It is just a sample player with no velocity sensitivity. As for making songs inside it, you're going to have to wrap your head around saving studio sets, songs, and patch changes seperately. This is the primary problem keeping me from using internal features....

Positive - Fast boot
Improvement - Load all SRX at once (increase memory)
Keep - Button/Knobs

This feature is still lacking. At least, I wish the pad settings would be stored after shutdown. I liked using the part select mode. But midi implementation is....meh

I can verify it works

This week my pitch wheel is acting up. When I add modulation or a pitch bend, it microtunes my upward. I cannot restore it unless I change the patch and go back. When recording in a DAW via midi, the microtune change records as automation. Based on midi evidence, the pitch bend will not default back...

I have just discovered the same problem with my Roland FA-06. It microtunes itself up a bit after i use the mod wheel. I'll try to open and identity any connector damage. Happy to have found this thread.

PPC needed to go. Why maintain old IBM code for discontinued processors? Roland is a veteran in the business. If its about cost, then they should charge for the driver rather than let the products go stale. Still, its their decision to make...just unfortunate for many.
