so if you copy a svd file over that has samples..
Can you copy samples over or do you also have to audio import samples as well?

I'm trying to wrap my brain around this after picking up an x again. If I want to try someone else's sounds like "andromeda's" set that is just an svd file.. I have to replace the svd/svs file on the internal, right? What is the point of the user card svd? How does one copy files from one ...

also, I can't recall.. if I was to create tracks, and then copy them into a pattern(say pattern 1).
If I want to add more tracks, can I delete what I've done in those prior tracks(and they still stay in that first pattern) letting me add new tracks?

I was looking at acquiring another X for production. Is the 2gig compact flash still the largest gig flash card that works on the X? I see so many ebay auctions with 8 or 16gig cf flash cards for the X.
Just wondering what the largest, fastest card was these days.

still having this issue.. I mean I have empty sample slots within 1700, then 17120-2000 empty.. yet I'll get the message and not able to sample anymore. Any other thoughts? Seems silly that you have to have 256 consecutive empty spaces, no? Especially since it puts the samples where it wants to whet...

just curious, but single mode has effects, etc, so it so patches sound better than in studio mode(where you apply your own effects). Yes, you are indeed correct about it sounding tinny, as EQ is your friend, a lot of the sounds need eq as their pfx. I use the G primarily as a sampler for all my soun...

Luckily I had a backup copy that works. Very strange, everytime the project loads, it has some checks next to certain samples. I tried erasing some and it still gives the error. I actually have about 300 or more sample spots open.. 1700-2000..Weird glitch.

So I just encountered this error message
"no more sample numbers" while trying to sample.
I see I still have room in ram, on my usb, and I also can see from my sample list available slots.
Anyone ever experience this? Or a solve?

I'm trying to record audio in from the G to logic.
Everytime I do, I don't get the Fantom sounds, but an annoying one note repeat.
anyone advise on the settings one should have to use logic?

I have and it still works fine in the editor/librarian, and other daws.

I've seen them used at Guitar Center online and instore from $1499-$1800.
