Hey thanks for checking. Just realised that this goes away when it's on a stand. I keep mine on a table so I think it resonates & exaggerates it. Anyway the keys work fine so i guess I'll just leave it.howardS wrote:Well, mine doesn't sound that way.

RD64 top octave key noise is different?
I'm just wondering if it's normal that the keys striking the keybed, when the keyboard is off, sound different in the lower octaves than they do on the top octave. I've linked to a video demonstrating this behaviour. I'm wondering if this is because the keyboard is indeed graded, so the top keys wil...

Re: Urgent help RD64 vs FP30
Great. Enjoy your RD64. There is a compromise in size here but I think it is a decent trade-off for portability. Thanks Howard. Since you have the RD64 I thought I'd clear a minor doubt that I have. I'm primarily using this as a midi controller in my studio and I can't seem to get it to work withou...

Re: Urgent help RD64 vs FP30
Well, the first question is do you want 88 keys or do you want something smaller. I have an RD700nx and picked up an RD64 for smaller gigs or jams where 88 keys just take up too much room. Obviously that's a personal question you need to answer as none of us here can help you decide which size is b...

Urgent help RD64 vs FP30
I'm looking to buy a hammer action MIDI keyboard and I've shortlisted these. From what I've read PHA 4 - Standard on the FP30 is supposed to be an improvement on the Ivory G on the RD64. The FP30 also has 2 more octaves of keys, more sounds and speakers. So I'm wondering why it's considerably cheape...

Should I sell my A800 after I get an A88?
Hey,
this is a simple question, if I don't need the faders/knobs on the A800 pro, is there any point in holding on to it after I buy an A88?

Seriously... No one here uses a Roland A-PRO keyboard with a Mac on OSX (10.8.2) Mountain Lion?

Roland A-PRO Editor: No MIDI Devices listed
I just got the A800 PRO and I've installed the drivers and A-PRO editor. I've also setup the keyboard in the Mac "Audio MIDI Setup" just as the manual has instructed. Now when I open the A-PRO editor and try to set the MIDI devices input and output, I only see X's. The asks me to select A-...

Re: Roland A-PRO pads problem
Well I know how to change the velocity and Aftertouch curves for the pads and keys. I want to know how to disable aftertouch on the pads completely.
