Different decay time when releasing key if pedal is used

I would like to be able to change a patch I have created (strings sound) to have different behavior when releasing the key, depending on use of the sustain pedal. I would like the key release (with pedal NOT pressed) to have the same quick decay as usual. But if key is released with pedal pressed, I...

Re: Control rotary from pedal for specific patches

Thanks. This got me on the right path. I hadn't used the Editor before, so I got it installed and starting working on this task. I was able to get the sustain pedal to change the rotary speed as I want. In Matrix Control, I set SOURCE 1 to CC64:HOLD-1, and set DESTINATION 1 for SOURCE 1 to MFX-CTRL1...

Control rotary from pedal for specific patches

I have discovered from other posts that I can change the pedal behavior to emulate the Modulation Lever function. But I can only get that to work at the global system level. I would like to have pedal vary the rotary speed for an organ patch, but still serve as sustain pedal for other patches. Is th...

Re: MIDI settings for Performance patches?

Occurs to me that my question would apply to ANY user-created patches (such as "Pf5xx"), and not just Performance patches.

MIDI settings for Performance patches?

The user manual doesn't seem to list MIDI values to receive (MSB/LSB/PC) for Performance patches. I can change to standard patches from an external MIDI device (Ex: to "Perc Organ 1" with MSB=087, LSB=064, PC=116), but I can't find any info on switching to a Performance patch. I'm hoping t...

Re: Changing default tremolo/vibrato for a patch??

Thanks to everyone for the advice. "BitwiseOperator" gets the gold star for encouraging me to install and use the DI Editor software. I had just been trying to tweak things from the keyboard. Your suggestion did the trick! Now if I DO want a little tremolo, I just give a little nudge to th...

Re: Changing default tremolo/vibrato for a patch??

Hi Ted, Wow! Thanks for all the research and information! I tried the other harmonica settings on the DI, and none seem to allow me to turn off the effect. I'm just trying to fill in parts on a few songs that our band has being doing, since the guy who was playing harp parts moved away. I guess I'll...

Changing default tremolo/vibrato for a patch??

I'm sure this question would apply to other patches, but this is the one I am trying to change. The Blues Harp patch (KY123) is set for the Modulation Lever to add an effect (not sure if tremolo or vibrato?). But it also has a smaller amount of the effect that is there by default, after a key is hel...
