RE: Alternate-Tunings

Hi folks,

I have been playing through some of the 'alternate-tunings' on the J-XM. I wanted to ask, please, is it possible to set/program the entire keyboard (pitches) 'reversed' - so that low-C position is at the very top-right, and high-C at the very bottom-left.

Many thanks,

Paul

Re: RE: User Bank (512) Tone

BBQ,

Many thanks for the screenshot.

I'm going to get the newest manual printed out tomorrow so that I have it more to-hand.

Re: Guidance for Xm with 3.0 firmware

I am having the same issue since an update to 3.02 over the weekend. The display panel is different when entering certain play/edit modes.

RE: User Bank (512) Tone

Hi folks, If you SAVE a handful of TONEs to the USER bank via the s/w librarian, and then on (say) location 001 you adjust some of the FX parameters (say, delay/time), and then select another USER preset (say, next door to 002): should the original FX settings of 002 be (volatilely) modified to refl...

RE: Roland XV5050 (tuition?)

Hi folks, I am stuck on a small handful of things with my Roland XV5050. I wondered if anyone would be willing and kind enough to offer (say) a one hour tuition service using something like What's App video, please? I have been so busy of recent and have some gigs coming up over Xmas for which I wou...

That's great!

Although I was expecting such a giant keyboard to have a much longer manual, to be honest.

Cheers.

Re: RE: Compression FX

Many thanks guys,

I don't seem to receive reply-notifications so sorry for the delayed response.

That's all very helpful, cheers,

The manual I have is less than 30 pages long. Is this the one you refer to, please?

RE: Compression FX

Hi folks, I just wanted to quickly double check something, please: Is it correct that there is no 'compression' FX onboard the Jupiter X? I ask because I was going to record myself singing into the Vocoder, running directly into Cubase. There are (annoying!) volume-changes in my voice because I am n...

Don't think you can change the curve as such, but you can reduce the sensitivity. MENU > SYSTEM > CONTROLLER > Aft Sens

The range is 0-100 with 100 being the default.
Hi Chris,

That's great, thanks!

Will it save it as a global setting, might you know, please?
