I also have live 5, but I don't use the 2 together...instead, I use GURU for my drummachine/sampler. What ways have you tried to use Live and the 909? I might be missing out on something....lol

I just adjust the Release in the ADSR like lhm said...it works fine for chopped samples...and it's the easiest way.....for me anyway.
