Re: Roland Fa zencore

256 MB instead of 2 GB for multisample/expansion.

All other differences are expected I guess, but I was hoping for 500 MB - 1 GB instead of 256 MB. But sort of understandable.

Why the wait? Xm is available :-)

The Jupiter Xm is available now. So aren't they, more or less, the same under the surface? Why the long wait.
Hey, it's soon christmas! Daddy needs to buy himself a present! :-)

Re: NEW Fantom Axial sounds

Does this mean that some of the sounds shipped with the Fantom is on RAM? Or is all on RAM like Nord Stage? (nothing wrong with that, as long as it's lots of RAM) The new sound and multisamples are in flash: you have 16 slot for it. After they are loaded, they are always available, obviously even a...

Jupiter-X vs System 8

Can you roughly say that the Jupiter-X is, sound wise, a System 8 x4 + drums + RD pianos + XV5080 and a better keybed, but without sequencer and some knobs?

Re: Wait! No Multi Sampling to the keys on the Fantom ?

Now were am I going to find all that $$$??? Agree! Like Apple, out of the blue introduce something new and make instantly available. But it's ...

Re: Wait! No Multi Sampling to the keys on the Fantom ?

The day Nord give us multisampling will be the end of the game. Watch out Roland!! NORD has multisampling since 10 years, comprising libraries and sample editor. Nord doesn't have velocity layered user sampled sounds, only one layer. But you have it on Yamaha MODX series. And I assume Kronos also h...

Re: Tera Piano Patch Error on D#5?

I tried it and could not hear any notes switching as you described. (Tera Piano version 4.1.8)

But when hitting D#5 or A5 really soft it was louder then hitting it hard. Like it was doubled with a loud lid hit type of sound with a long, bad sounding, dark roomy tail (A5).

Re: YOURS loyalty program

This whole concept does make me think twice about over relying on the Roland Cloud plugins in my tracks; even more so now that I understand the 'Yours / P24L' scheme doesn't guarantee access in, say 15 years from now if the service gets pulled. That said, many other vsts like Omnisphere etc require...
