Re: Bashing Roland and other manufacturers !!!!!!
If supporting old instruments is so bad for companies, they could just ask for more money. People who are accustomed to certain instruments would certainly pay it.

New amazing 505 Editor
Stumbled upon a new 505 (D2 and JX305) editor. It's in beta but very promising so far!
You can edit multiple tones at once which is nice.

Re: Integra 8 coming soon?
Nope. There won't be an Integra 8 soon because these rack units usually last very, very long. What's the problem with the Integra 7 anyway ? Go make some music.

Re: MC-808 as slave but sending the clock to Pulse 2
Midi mergers and splitters could be a solution. Like Kenton MIDI Thru 5 and Kenton Midi Merge. There are other companies as well, of course.

Re: Integra V2 VST editor work in Windows 10?
Manual says to remove CTRL from Cubase and use the other port.
Generally, the editor should work forever because it's basically based on HTML iirc.
I like the editor by K-Take better, tho. You should check that one out.

Re: Hard Sync Synth Patches?
Did you try to open it with an older version of the editor ? I used 1.40. It's a very basic patch anyway, so you can dial in everything yourself: ‣ Switch tones 1 and 2 on, and set them to saw waveforms. ‣ Set tone 1 filter to BPF, Cutoff to 80, Resonance to 80. ‣ set this filter's Cutoff Keyfollow ...

Re: Hard Sync Synth Patches?
There is no hard sync so all you can do is emulating. The key following resonance peak alone is not enough. It needs to modulate the 2nd oscilattor via the booster. Also I was talking about the pcm engine. I highly, highly recommend reading the fantom tweakbook. The pcm engine is much depper than ge...

Re: Hard Sync Synth Patches?
It's abolutely possible to make or emulate sync sounds. I attached a K-Take editor file. The file has a .txt ending and you need to rename it to .i7s Check out the first basic sound. The important settings are: - OSC has a BPF with high resonance and Cutoff Key Follow 100 - Mix Table is set to a Boos...

Re: Improved editor script
I have attached the enhanced script to this post. Simply replace the old script folder. Or make a new folder, copy your MC-808E.exe there plus the new script. The editor is a portable app, so to speak! Please note that saved files are not compatible with the original editor. But it's possible to con...

Re: Roland Editor Update 2.03
I just testeded total recall and it finally works. However, you still can't automate parameters within Cubase (and other sequencers ?). Therefore I recommend K-Take's Editor, which is faster, has copy and paste and simply is nicer. http://synth-voice.sakura.ne.jp/Integra ... glish.html

Roland Editor Update 2.03
The official editor has been updated. I did not test it yet but I think the bugfix is a crucial one because under certain circumstances, total recall was not possible: SN-D drumsets were not recalled properly.
