Re: System Update Version 1.03
And mine is already sold ... Sorry, but going back to the same old sounds as in my old XP-60 was not quite what I was looking for. Axial was one of the reasons that I bought the FA and it is really a great service in theory. But it looks like it follows the same pattern as Roland other so-called &qu...

Re: FA Editor
Hi! I have been working with a librarian and Studio Set editor for the FA for some time, but have paused due to lack of time. However, I have learned a lot during this work. As far as I can understand there is no way to save changes via SysEx. I have tried all variations I can think of. Roland has e...

Re: Application to share Studio Sets and Tones
No, probably not. I have no experience in programming on iOS. But I guess there are programs on iOS that you could use to send the files to the synth with (probably more and better programs compared to the PC-world). The file format is plain old SysEx and it shouldn't matter if the sender is a PC or...

Re: Application to share Studio Sets and Tones
No problem - happy to help; really appreciate you allowing me to share your work at the Repository :) The only way to upload things is through me. That way I control quality. Just email me the files you want to upload, I test them (or have selected others do that if I don't have the kit - XT for ex...

Re: Application to share Studio Sets and Tones
Thanks Cello! Very much appreciated.
Probably a stupid question, but how do I do if I want to upload files on http://www.jp-80.com/?

Re: Application to share Studio Sets and Tones
Ok, I'll try on Firefox my self tomorow and get back. But a better solution is to load up the file on http://www.jp-80.com/ where it belongs. So I'll do that to (and perhaps a couple of others...).

Re: Application to share Studio Sets and Tones
Strange. Are you sure your mouse points at FinalCountdown.syx when you select the right mouse button? Because if you happen to point to "Parent Directory", that page will be downloaded as html.
What kind of browser do you otherwise use?

Re: Application to share Studio Sets and Tones
Hi! I was going to write a small manual and add it to the program, but I actually forgot it... Press the "Setup"-button in the program and select "FA0608" as MIDI-devices (both in and out). If "FA0608" isn't the lists it might be because the drivers from Roland isn't pr...

Application to share Studio Sets and Tones
Hello everyone! I've created a simple program for importing and exporting Studio Sets and Tones to and from the FA 06/08. The program performs a bulk dump on selected Studio Set which then is saved to file. The same kind of file can then also be imported through the program to any Studio Set. Tones ...

Re: Export/Import Studiosets
One can filterar on Bank (user/preset/installed exp's), BankType (SNA, SNS, SND, PCMS, PCMD) and category (the same categories that are used internally within the FA). You can then filter this in any way you want (single or multiple selections for all). I am, as I said, really happy with this featur...

Re: Export/Import Studiosets
It's my own experiment and is a mix between a librarian and an editor. I think the FA is reasonably easy to edit as it is, but it do lacks some features. So my program contains some functions that I think is missing and that makes life a little easier. E g to be able to copy an entire part from one ...

Re: Export/Import Studiosets
Hi, I've been working with an editor for the FA for a while (PC) and exporting/importing individual Studio Sets using SysEx is quite simple (when you get the hang of it:-)). This functionality could absolutely be a part of such editor. But the problem with Studio Sets is that they may contain both U...
