Re: Integra 8 coming soon?
Looking at the history of modules.... 1986-1992 LA / PCM - D/U Series, MT32 1993-2000 SR - JD/JV - JV Series 2000-2008 SRX - XV series & Fantom XR (1) 2008-2016 ARX / Supernatural - Integra 7 (1) it should justify that after 2 times a period of 8 years with each period one module representing th...

Re: Integra 8 coming soon?
Retail store said they bought the last batch I7's recently and no more will be supplied from Roland.
Perhaps check it out with your local dealer.

Re: Integra 8 coming soon?
Wish Roland could make a clear statement there is not going to be an Integra 7 follow up in the next X years or so. That would making a decision to get an I7 or wait much easier. It's possibly too much wishful thinking though... :-)

Re: New AIRA product - MX-1
Guess they just want to limit the number of compatibility issues with other devices, so make it Aira only so that not everyone is going to plug in anything. They can enumerate what is been attached by MIDI Sysex (or perhaps USB audio) Interestingly, in the NAMM Video they said the MX-1 has no green ...

Re: Why is Roland Charging $95 to update the TR-8
There is no free lunch, though $95 feels like a razor and blade sales strategy. For $49 I would likely not have hesitated to tick the buy now button, specially because the release was right around XMAS. Let's see if the volume sold of upgrade can cover Rolands R&D costs, if not, perhaps they may...

Re: TR-8 Fixes and features wishlist
Another option for 48/24Khz. It seems you can route the TR8 USB to an MX1 and from there get 24/48/96 to the DAW over USB. Yup, a little bit expensive, but you get an extra toy to play with. On another note Its is kind of weird that on NAMM they keep saying the MX-1 does not support USB MIDI class c...

Re: Integra 8 coming soon?
Really hoped for an enhanced/new Integra at NAMM 2015. The I7 is more than 2 years old now and I need some good acoustic sounds in rack form. The I7 still seems to still be the only viable choice, no other companies are coming out with something alike. In Europe it has not been discounted (yet?) Per...

TR-8 Fixes and features wishlist
Here i go with some things I found and recommendations. Don't get me wrong, the TR-8 is fantastic. FIX REQUESTS: [1] MIDI Real time messages ALSA shows 2 Midi interfaces in Linux using USB. (amidi –l) The TR8 seems to sends real time (start/stop/clock/active sensing) messages, on only one interface ...

TR8 - Got it, using it, loving it, improve it ?
Even before knowing the sounds were from a TR-808, I loved that sound. No money for a TR-808. Rushed to the store to pick the last TR-8 in stock. It's hot and this is not in the US or Europe, but Taiwan! TR-8 is a gift from heaven. Are there actually Roland folks reading these forums? How to get to ...
