Re: "the file data is invalid" error in VST librarian
Just out of curiosity:
Has anyone gotten in touch with their support?
Did they say anything?

Re: JP8000 ribbon controller problem
Wait ... is it the part you replaced that's impossible to find today? Or the original?
Please post here what was the replacement you used as this might be useful to us in the future.
Maybe I will already buy one or to just in case.
Thanks!!

Some Microsoft driver picked up my Varios USB ... and worked
Yesterday I noticed there was a device o my computer called "My Roland Product", showing up as a MIDI port on MidiOx. When I sent notes to that port it turns out one of my Roland Varios with a VC-1 card on it emitted sound. So I went to the rack and indeed it has its USB led lit. Me, being...

Re: System 8 - Poly Plugouts.
I have sent a message to Roland support asking if they have anything new coming to the system 8 now that the Jupiter X (AMB technology) is out. Or if the ACB technology is over and I should let go of my system 8 towards the Jupiter X. I just got back the generic "our ACB technology is not over&...

Hey man ... seriously ... you should be writing press releases for Roland.
Not joking here. You need to be paid for this one way or another.

Re: UPDATE: Loyalty Program Discontinued!
This sounds awfully a lot like when I bought my Varios, with the promise that every so often they would release new "plugins" for it. Then all of a sudden Varios was moved to the "legacy" section of their download pages. Won't be surprised either when they do the same to my Syste...

Re: Stuck forever on "starting up, please wait"
I got 2.4.1 and it didn't work either. And I am not getting anything meaningful from support.
So cancellation it is.

Re: Roland FA VSTi for ROLANDCLOUD
@IanSmythe indeed I see you are influencing Roland's RnD greatly. So, if you don't mind, if its not too much trouble, could you please ask them to have the JP-80X0 and the Juno series added to ROLANDCLOUD too? And if they could also release an "open platform API" as they promised years ago...

Nothing I tried seems to resolve the problem.
Thinking about giving up on it.

Re: What’s coming next??
Well ... I think I got used to them releasing something new every 2 months more or less. Now has been almost 6 months and no new instrument. So either we are getting something big or nothing at all. It is just that I have been with Roland for so long and saw them throw away so many products that I w...

Re: I need a replacement transformer
A proof of concept I just implemented: Got a piece of plexiglass I had lying around and made a bottom for the synth using the original bottom as reference. Then made a hole on it and put a 12V fan running at 5V, so it runs silent. I am hoping that blowing cold air in will help with dissipating most ...
