Re: New Fantom-07, System Update BRICKED My Board

It's easy; after they managed to sell their products to you, they just don't care any more. And won't sweat about it because is the exact same situation with their competitors.

Or maybe the severity of your exaggurated accusations did not meet the level of emergency that you wanted.

Re: Tone List Abbreviations

Thank you for your complete and thoughtful answer, xp30. The reason for my question is because I have received my new Fantom-08 about 1.5 weeks ago. After going through the factory loaded stuff, I then decided to load 4 EXZ groups.(good free sounds!) So then I had to look for the tones with the EXZ ...

Tone List Abbreviations

Going through the many tone names that are in the various lists such as Piano, Synth etc. I noticed Z-Core followed by Pre, SRX, User and others. The only abbreviation that I don't get is Z-Core CMN. Is the CMN common? If so, what are examples of zen core common patches?

USB Flash Drives

I am curious, has anyone found a USB stick that has caused system failure to their I-7?
Or has anyone had a flash drive not work? Has anyone bought a Roland flash drive because of what it says on pg.50 of the owner's manual?

Just to let it be known, SanDisk and Dane USB drives work fine on my unit.

Re: Considering to buy Integra 7 . Question

Or are they just a bunch of user settings and effects creating new sounds with the allready available sample library.. That describes it very well. They are programs (Roland calls them Tones) that use the SuperNATURAL Synth Tone (SN-S) sound engine (set of parameters). The available sample memory i...

Re: Control Change settings

It looks like the CC numbers are not changeable for super natural acoustic tones. The closest thing I've seen to this is pcms tones using matrix cc's and those might not be assignable either. I'm fortunate to have assignable controllers on my kurz pc3x, so I haven't had to reassign cc's on my Integr...

Re: Which genius decided on the EQ frequencies?

The only work-around that I can think to try would be this. Route the instrument sound(s) to the "B outputs". Then maybe that could go to an outboard equalizer designed by a non-genius person.

Re: PCMSynth Parameters for Integra-7

Thanks PauloF,

I will absolutely checkout the Fantom and Sonic Cell manuals, Roland sure keeps their docs archived well.

The main reason I want to dive into programing is because K_Take did such a kick-off job on the stand-alone editor (win8.1). It is a good tool for editing.

PCMSynth Parameters for Integra-7

Hello to all of you well-informed I-7 users. I have to say that my Integra-7 is meeting or exceeding my expectations so far. I have been in possession of this unit for 4 weeks and it performs well. Now for the "help me" part. The last unit I had that used similar parameters for PCMS sounds...

Re: How to get a SuperNatural Instrument to ignore switches

Your problem may be solved from the controller end. Not knowing what you're using for a controller, I'll take a shot by suggesting that your split could use separate midi channels and not transmitting the offending cc's on one of the two channels. This assumes that your controller transmits two chan...
