I dont know what I am doing wrong. Whenever I press the record button the FA goes into step record mode. I dont hear the metronome. Pressing the play button does nothing and standby is indicated on the screen. I know it is something basic but I cannot, after a lot of trying, figure it out. Any ideas...

is it possible to trigger fa pads from foot pedal
This must have been asked before. Is there any way to use a foot pedal, maybe a fcb1010 , to trigger the pads instead of pressing them by hand?

how to make drum part same volume as synth parts
I use a Roland fa06 to play the JDXI. Using the fa06 pads I can select if I want to play the JDXI parts 1, 2 ,3 or all together with the drums. The problem is that the drum track is so much louder than the others. If I use a filter on the analogue part the drums totally drown out the sound. Is there...

Re: roland fa06 as sound module
From my experience I believe that 15 channels plus a sample track is most correct.

Re: midi controller for organ drawbars?
Just curious to know if anyone has successfully used the midi solutions event processor (in combination with a standard midi controller) to move the fa drawbars in real time.

Re: External midi-keyboard with FA-06 problem ?
not sure if this helps. you can create a studio set with up to 16 different or the same patch sounds. Each of the 16 slots can have the same or different midi numbers, each of the 16 slots can have unique keyboard ranges, There is unprecedented opportunity to split the keyboard in any number of ways.

Rhythm pattern question
If I have a standard AABA song format, is it possible to have the rhythm patterns within the group change automatically as the song progresses. In other words are the patterns within the group supposed to start with into and then change over time to verse then bridge then ending etc. The patterns se...

Re: Assigning S1/S2 buttons to a footswitch?
I don't know if this helps put I use two ev5 pedals on the organ sounds. I have one pedal assigned to the overdrive and one pedal assigned to the rotary effect. I did this by using the "tone edit" to assign the rotary effect to aftertouch and then used the pedal setup to assign the pedal t...

Re: midi controller for organ drawbars?
Point well taken. I did not want to imply that the db1 wasn't worth the money - I was simply hoping that I could control the drawbars with the equipment that I already have. I have an idea for a possible workaround - not perfect- I haven't tried it yet. My akai mpk49 in cubase mode adjusts the volum...

Re: midi controller for organ drawbars?
I totally agree that the DB-1 is exactly what we want. My only issue is with its price. I already have several controllers with sliders. It is a shame that the only solution is to buy another controller.
