to get around this issue
turn all the pots to zero then swap them to assign and that stops the pop overs twitching up
i edit the filter etc via the edit synth screen and the big edit dial that is unaffected via this

Re: FA 08 Sound Modify Knobs
it's a know issue with all FA synths over time.... basically don;t touch em on a new boot up ever again you can navigate to any of those parameter and change them with the alpha dial instead. I'm about to go n buy some contact cleaner to see if that imporves it.. but my synth has always been covered...

Re: Knobs malfunctioning
would be good to have a firmware option to disable encoder/knob pop overs for the display on the main screen and just use out ears so we can change things on the main screen and not have obscured by a flickry pop up

Re: FA-06 Knobs Not Settling
same here..
if ROLAND are listening, how about a firmware update the TURN OFF the pop up on the screen for these twitchy encoders?
if they keep flicker in on.off i can't use the screen/menus below that pop up.. maddening!

Re: How to keep the glossy FA surface clean?
ALL my music kit is covered in yellow dusters when not in use..i've bought like 20+ of them!
from my Fa-06 to the mixer to my roland TD-30 drum kit....the dusters only come off when i play
keeps everything 'as new' PLUS you never have to search for a duster!

ussing td-30 to record fa-06 drums - hi hat trigger issue
I picked up a TD-30 kit last week and all is good...yesterday i hooked it up to my roland FA-06 workstation which also has some supernatural kits from the TD apparently. so the TD 30 is triggering the FA-06 kit fine on all drums and cymbals except for the hi hat which i cannot seem to get to work co...

Re: Sonic State's Nick Batt gives the sequencer a roasting
yeh the underpowered seq has caused me to pause on this..i'll wait to see if a firmware update arrives, plus see if roland roll out a poly system 2.
i like the idea of the JD-XA for sure just seems a little rough /rushed out in how it operates right now.
