I've tried the midiBeam from PandaMidi, and sometimes it will lose packets of information like not turning a note off, or leaving a pitch bend in operation even after it's been removed. Or even modding an AX-synth to have a couple more knobs/sliders? Would it be as simple as connecting up the knob to the MIDI in port?

Modding an AX-synth to allow volume knob to transmit MIDI?
Hi, the AX-synth works fairly well as a MIDI controller, but unfortunately the volume knob was not built to transmit MIDI CC data! Does anyone in this forum know how to go about modding an AX-synth to allow the Volume Knob to be able to transmit MIDI CC data when it is used as a MIDI controller? Or ...
