Re: limiting midi info sent from v-synth?
i switched it up today, and use the korg m3 as a controller. this solves the issue, but now i can not record midi automation from my v-synth into my mv8800. i had the mv midi in to v-synth out midi out, and v-synth midi in to mv midi out now i run the mv midi in to the m3 midi out, with midi out fro...

limiting midi info sent from v-synth?
having finally gotten deep into my v-synth, i love it. but when i use it with my roland mv 8800 sequencer it seems to be sending too much midi info. the mv lags when recording stuff, and acts all kooky when recording midi from internal drumkits on tracks even where the v-synth is not armed. and it h...

Re: New owner of a V-synth v2.0
Thx mate. Like bigpicturekeys said, there really should be a a vsynth for dummies book. If anyone got the holy spirit and would put up some video tutorials on how to dig into the monster i would be much obliged. Btw since my last post here i updated to 2.0. Re: First gig with my V
As for build quality i have no qualms with the radias, the most annoying issue for me is that goddamn bpm knob. Never has it been harder to set the right bpm. I need to reread the manual cause there must be a better to set it. I cant spend 15 minutes just to sync a damn arp lol

Re: First gig with my V
Speaking of the radias vs v-synth, they complement eachother very well, where the v is thick and grainy the radias is sharper and more digital sounding, in a vst sort of way. Both are extremely flexible with the control interface. Together they cover alot of sonic range and can create amazing textur...

Re: MV-8000 hard drive to solid state drive?
isnt the ram loading times the real bottleneck? even if you had a nasa built horsepower super ssd, all data has to pass from ram to the drive. and the ram is of an ancient type so you really cant do anything about it. unless some braniac comes up with a way to install a modern type ram chip into the...

Re: MV 8800 stereo outs & mixer summing
i think it goes thru the dac, but you can bypass that by going thru the coaxial out and send it crispy clean.

Re: MV crashed w/midi....plus some housekeeping questions
i think the crash you experienced comes from a midi feedback loop. maybe, happened to me a few times with this one synth i had. sounds similar. if thats the case you either have midi in and out goin into the bs2 so the mv is receving while sending and the bs2 spits out too much midi so its an overlo...

Re: record the audio of patern play MV-8000
route every patch used in the pattern to , M1 for example, going thru the coaxial, back in thru a dac and record(resample) as audio. but then again, if you do that you might as well just step record the pattern (shift+rec) and resample it. then you get em as audio. split and trim the audio, assing t...

Re: New owner of a V-synth v2.0
Could you plz explain how to make a sample into a patch?
I feel like such an idiot, i sample, then it all goes downhill and i dont understand anything.
