Re: Integra 7 Supernatural Drums
If you intend to use existing MIDI files/loops without changing anything, the high quality GM sounds may work better with less tweaking. But to use the SN drums, you just need to put bank select and program change messages at the beginning of your tracks.

Re: How many articulations is included in the integra 7 patc
All of the manuals are freely available from Roland here: https://www.roland.com/us/products/integra-7/support/ You can read in as much depth as you want with all the stuff you'll find there, but I recommend to start by reading the document titled "Inside the Integra-7". Pages 5 and 6 prov...

Re: controlling part volumes live on same MIDI channel
If you're using an iPad anyway, you could keep the 16 parts on their own channels and use an app like Midiflow or iMIDIPatchbay or AUM to copy your MIDI messages from the 2 channels on your Nord to the many channels on your Integra-7. If you prefer not to have an app intervene between your Nord and ...

Re: Integra-7 Buyer
Yes, on the I7 you can name your patches whatever you like. Each person will have different needs and priorities, so take the following with a grain of salt. OB-6 wins for tactile control (real knobs vs. iPad app) OB-6 wins for real analog sound OB-6 wins for quick inspiration, having its own keys, ...

Re: Integra-7 Buyer
Hi Don, you can use the camera connection kit to plug the iPad into the Integra-7 via USB. SuperNatural synth editing is okay on the iPad app, but it's not going to be anything like editing on the OB-6. They're so different, I'm not sure how to advise further... As for controllers, I've used a bunch...

Re: Roland SonicCell and Sierra (10.12)
I assume you mean with a USB connection, in which case I think it won't work. Same story on Windows 10. The only way to keep using it is to run the MIDI and audio through a USB/Thunderbolt/whatever interface that is supported in your current OS.

Re: Midi Controller for Integra 7 Roland A88 vs RD64 ?
It's hard to say without owning the RD-64, but I would guess its built-in sounds are more or less functionally equivalent to tones that you could find in the Integra-7.

Re: Midi Controller for Integra 7 Roland A88 vs RD64 ?
Hi Len, You can configure splits and layers in the Studio Sets on the Integra, so the RD64 would not prevent you from doing splits and layers. However, the A88 would allow you to push one button on the controller to turn them on and off on the fly. I think the much bigger consideration is the number...

Re: Ext part volume
Hit the [PART VIEW] button to bring up the "PART VIEW -ALL-" screen. Use the cursor keys the "LEVEL/CH" tab and scroll down to the "PartEX" line. Use the value dial to adjust the "Level" parameter. You can also hit [PART VIEW] a second time and then hit the [P...

Re: Integra 7 with a pedal system(Audiofront MIDI Expression
I don't have any experience with this device, but it looks like you can connect the PX5S to the MIDI Expression iO in standalone mode, and connect that to the Integra-7 and it should work.

Re: Integra 7 and non-Roland Digital Audio Workstation softw
Yes, it will work perfectly with the Komplete Kontrol 88, but the fancy NKS integration features will not work with the Integra-7.

I have no experience with that particular desk, but the Integra is 2U, so should fit easily based on the specs listed on the Sweetwater page you linked.

Re: Does the Integra-7 includes celtic instruments?
A quick scan of the sound list did not find a low whistle nor an Irish flute. There are several other flutes and whistles, so using those wave forms, it is probably feasible to create your own, if you're good at that sort of thing.

Re: Integra 7 as audio card for iPad
Yes, you can configure "normal" USB audio devices to work with the iPad. They just have to be class-compliant. For example, the Korg Kronos can send and receive both audio and MIDI to/from the iPad over a USB cable. Same for the Focusrite Scarlett USB line of devices. These are just a coup...
