Re: MultiSampling (without falling asleep)
You mixed and mastered a whole album on it? Got a link so I can check it out. I have been waiting to hear what it sounds like when someone does the vocals in the Fantom and mixes it down to finished product.

Re: REVERB bug on audio track
<t>Thanks Quinnx. Well.. seems this is a BIG mark against the FG (for me personally) Roland does some weird things sometimes. Working with the singers I work with I can almost hear them now complaining that the vocal laid down already, sounds "funny" while they are recording the new one...LOL... thi...

REVERB bug on audio track
<t>Not sure if this is a bug or not. i went to GC and was really working the FG over good (in my quest to buy it) I actually got a mic and recorded vocals on the audio tracks. The problem is on track one i added reverb (after the audio was recorded....in the mixer screen) and when I went to record t...

MultiSampling (without falling asleep)
<r>I SOOOO want to get the Fantom. I Really do. But I just cant see paying all that money and not having a main feature(for me) that has a "non creativity killing" workflow . MULTI-SAMPLING. Having different samples on different keys is a disaster on the FG. I appreciate Dans video.. (Dan is the Man...

SP-555 CF question
<t>OK... heres my question. How do you load sounds on a particular pad when using the SP555? For instance... if I have 2 gigs worth of sounds , its pretty obvious that these sounds outnumber the amount of pads available. Is there a "load to pad" option ? Like if I have a bunch of Kicks and I want to...

Re: New SP-555 Firmware V1.04
<r>LOL... I feel you Q.... the 555 is a piece of Doo Doo.... first of all... the editing of the start/end points is RIDICULOUS !!! Why cant we just call up the sample and adjust the start point to where we want it... (instead of using MARK) WOOOOOOOOOWWWWW what a waste of aluminum.<br/> <br/> The sp...

Re: Noob Fantom G question
Ahhh,,,, thanks to you ALL. That must be it. I didnt know the Fantom saves a certain amount to memory (50 megs) . And now that I think about it the song I did was nto over 50 megs in audio tracks.. so it would fit. This is actually kinda cool though.

Noob Fantom G question
<t>My question is this... while on one of my visits to GC in the past I recorded a song in the Fantom. I actually hooked another keyboard (korg) to the inputs of the G and recorded onto the audio tracks playing live. I had like 8 tracks of stuff audio along with the midi I sequenced in the G. What g...

Re: Faster/default way to create a multi-sample?
<t>Honestly... when I saw Dans video on Multi sampling..I decided (For GOOD) not to get the Fantom (no offense Dan) The way it was showed is so ridiculous (not Dans fault)... Me being a "Sampler addict" the workflow is a Creativity Killer. NEEDLZ... i would recommend the MV-8800 for any person that ...

Did you get the 20gib sorted out (and if you did ...did you find the reason why the G all of a sudden started giving error messages again)?
