Workaround found. JunoG sends MMC midi as master to a multitrack recorder, which then sends midi clock out to the groovebox. Since the multitracker only cares about sync recording/playback, only the start/stop/continue control messages get through, which stops the 303 receiving any other midi sound ...

Yes it would be a great setup, I think if one is master, one slave, I don't see why they wouldn't be able to sync to measures throughout the song.

Since Ski has both machines, maybe he'd like to try it as an experiment?
