gaia midi problem [solved]
Hi, wondering if anyone knows a solution for me. I have my Juno-G sending midi to the Gaia using midi channel 4. I play and record on the Juno, channel 4, and it plays back the gaia. All good. But if I move to any other midi channel on the juno, it will play a piano from the gaia. Unless I select ch...

Re: Official Juno-G replacements from Roland!
FYI I ended up emailing Roland and getting the part direct over the phone in Australia. The part does not appear on the US or AU websites, but is available. Cameron is also sending me the update files and instructions for install. Part number is 5100038847 and cost me $120AUD delivered - well happy ...

Re: Official Juno-G replacements from Roland!
Hi, I'm ready to pay out for the new screen but can no longer find it for sale on the Roland site, I had it in my shopping cart at one time, but had to sort out a US address. Have they stopped selling it now? Anyone have a link please.

Re: 303 external keyboard problem
Tx Dani, video tutorials are always worth watching for hints and tips, and I might get lucky.
Didn't realise they'd be out there.

Re: JunoG to MC303 double sounds
Workaround found. JunoG sends MMC midi as master to a multitrack recorder, which then sends midi clock out to the groovebox. Since the multitracker only cares about sync recording/playback, only the start/stop/continue control messages get through, which stops the 303 receiving any other midi sound ...

303 external keyboard problem
Hi, have posted this question in JunoG forum, but hope it's not a double post as the 303 people may have more idea of a solution. Bored with manuals now :( My JunoG keyboard is midi out to the 303 midi in and I get start/stop/tempo sync. But when I perform on my keyboard, it is playing its' own soun...

JunoG to MC303 double sounds
Hi all, have been trying 2 days in manuals to solve my problem, searched here and can find no solution, so it's either impossible, or so easy I overlooked something? I want to play and sync patterns on the 303 whilst performing on the Juno. JunoG is midi out to MC303 midi in, I get play/stop/tempo s...

Re: FA06 drops in value
theshine : that's interesting that you saw that auction too, I wonder if the buyer was a dealer trying to make 3-400 on it, because the true value seems to be 1250 right now. I would have grabbed it for that money, but decided to think a bit more, and it's evidence that the machine is devalued (unli...

Re: FA06 drops in value
I've already said I feel down about it because it was something I wanted, but it failed to deliver on the promises, and my post outlines why Roland should be rethinking themselves. It doesn't stop me feeling empathy for those that fell for the trap. Just because it didn't happen to me, are you sayin...

Re: FA06 drops in value
I think the Post should read "FA Drops in price not Value" I'll accept your definition of the post subject. Yes it definitely has value, because now I can potentially expect to pick it up for $700-850 in the near future. And that is what it is worth, because the market doesn't lie. We nee...

Re: FA06 drops in value
Thanks guys, It seems that all the FA has remaining for me is loop record and some new fandango sounds. The sampling side of it seems like a write off to me, and JunoG has sampling anyway, which can be messy, but the FA doesn't seem any better. And I still love patch mode/tone generation on the G, s...

Re: FA06 drops in value
Cheers Cda,
Yes it would be a great setup, I think if one is master, one slave, I don't see why they wouldn't be able to sync to measures throughout the song.
Since Ski has both machines, maybe he'd like to try it as an experiment?
