Re: can cause confusion...
no disrespect, but this is how things get misconstrued and FUD'ed on the internet--when people don't take time to read a manual or invest in learning about the instrument beyond just turning it on and playing it. I think because your post was so emphatic Correct, it is mono , one would believe you ...

Re: SE-02 Mono?
No its stereo audio on a monophonic synth. Where do you guys get your data from to reply to topics?! Roland website clearly states stereo, and if you owned one you'd know it's stereo sound. Good lord, try some decaffeinated, you'll live longer. I didn't look on the Roland website, I do own one, but...

Re: Jp80 and ipad.
BTW where is the iPad Editor? I cannot find it in the German and US store, did they take it offline? The Integra Editor is gone as well... nice! I believe both were taken off of the App Store because they were 32-bit apps, and Apple is enforcing that apps be updated to 64-bit. It's not clear if App...

Re: Se-02 pitch problem
I believe that the instructions for the 1.05 firmware skipped steps that should be taken after installing the firmware. Someone on Facebook asked about this, followed the instructions I gave them, and it fixed all of their issues. Now that you've installed the firmware: Perform a Factory Reset: 1) P...

Re: SE-02 song chain feature request
No, you're right, I don't think it can do what you want it to do now. Might be worth dropping Product Support a line, and they might forward it to the product manager to see if it could be included in an update.

Re: SE-02 song chain feature request
Each Song slot can have up to 16 patterns. Each of those 16 patterns can have up to 100 repeats. Are you sure you really need more than that?

Re: SE-02 octave transpose in pattern record
I was just getting ready to post that :D But to confirm, that is the right way, the only way I know of to easily get above/below the range provided by the available (or no) keyboard. Switching to Patch mode and bumping it an octave won't change the values sent by the keys. Use the Value knob.

Metronome click with options, yes, but no count in. I suppose since it loops around, they decided it didn't need a count in.

Re: jd xi pattern copy does not copy
Sounds like many of you are talking about slightly different things. Yes, you can copy a pattern from one Program (Preset or User) Part to another (User Program). Yes, you can copy a single Part from one Program to another. You do not have to copy an entire Program. True, you cannot add a customized...

Re: jd xi pattern copy does not copy
Are you writing the new Program with the copied pattern to the User Bank before you navigate anywhere else? If not, you will lose your changes each time. Save and save often!Wcash wrote:i have not got patterns locked and am not trying to write into the pre set banks!!!!!.

Re: plug out (in) additions.
Is there really no other way to add a synth to slot 3 without a DAW? My current DAW is old, and dose not support new VST synths? I was really thinking about sh 101 or system 100, but If I spent the cash on one of these, I have no way to get it onto the system 8? There must be another way? Please he...
