don't worry...
...i made the same error. yeah you WRITE but then you change the location or even the name while you're at it. then everything about the pattern is saved. it makes sense but when you see "PART COPY" you make assumptions.

i've not been able to successfully get into the MIDI editor either and i'm on a mac laptop. i wanted to edit the reverbs and it gave me some kind of error message i can't recall because it was months ago.

so if my original sound is mono (all of mine are, since they're for live mono systems) looping it will take up 2 voices? meaning 2 voices of polyphony in the pattern it's used in?
