Re: Free FA Overlays from Roland

My pleasure, the overlays will definitely protect from scratches, I think that two-sided tape would secure these new panels better than the little dots especially for those gigging and moving the keyboard around in a gig bag. Cheers ! Graydon

Re: Free FA Overlays from Roland

I received my overlays from Roland today and yes, they do look great. It was more of an effort to get those little dots off (used the end of a sewing needle) to remove them and they fit in place. Nice work Roland ! the box arrived also free of charge. If anyone in Canada needs a link to order the pa...

Re: Free FA Overlays from Roland

If and when I do receive my FA-06 display overlay from Roland Canada, I will send anyone in Canada the fella I dealt with and who responded to my request. I can happily pass on the Roland contact via email I received a few weeks ago telling me that mine has been sent to my rural address. I should ho...

Re: Free FA Overlays from Roland

If anyone in Canada has received this overlay, please let me know how you did it, or where to enlist/enroll in the program, mine is getting a bit scratched up in general use. If anyone has a link for Canada to register on, that would be appreciated. Kind regards, Graydon

Re: Free FA Overlays from Roland

I have tried to order an overlay from Roland in Canada, not available yet. Not a USA resident was the reply. Hopefully, the overlay will be available in Canada.

Re: Using a Leslie simulator with the FA06

I own a Roland FA06 owner but having owned a Hammond B3 with Leslie 122, then a Leslie Pro 900 for over 25 years in a band, I understand anyone wanting an authentic Hammond organ sound from a synth, The B3 and Leslie Cabinet were beasts to lug around and I went lightweight. I have never been particu...

Re: Roland Fa or Korg krome

I own both, Roland FA-06 and Krome 61 and use both in my live set up for totally different reasons. I have a few more software packages installed on the Krome. The Roland has a wide variety of tones and I like the Juno and Jupiter warm pads and strings much more than the Krome. Touch screen is a muc...

Re: FA Series Hammond tones revisited

I am an FA06 owner and was somewhat disappointed that the organ capability of this keyboard. I found out after my purchase that It did not come with the B3/C3 chorus and vibrato effects, this "clonewheel" technology was put in the VR-09 instead, with working drawbars for the authentic &quo...

Re: Need help loading Expansion EXP Pack 02

Perfect. I don't think I will need any more tones now with all that are available on the FA-06 and EXP-02. Now to figure out what I want to create in Studio Sets, definitely including some from the EXP-02. Wow, lots to create with. On a good learning curve with the FA-06. Thanks very much for the he...

Re: Need help loading Expansion EXP Pack 02

now another question. I really like the EX02 # 0116 B3Sermon SRV, it has the V3/C3 slow rotor emulation tone like my old B3 and Leslie 122. Can I save this particular PCMS tone to a Studio Set List which I want to try making now, to bring it up and save for live playing ? Thanks !

Re: How to keep the glossy FA surface clean?

I do the same as Espanol, all my keyboards are covered in elastic dust covers in the studio and I also have Gator gig bags for all units which I bought from Long & McQuade Toronto when I bought each keyboard for hauling them around. I do think that the Roland FA-06 is going to subject to finger ...
