When installing these drivers, the guidance is to leave the device disconnected during the install. From reading your note, it seems you had it connected during install. Not sure if that could be the issue.

Can you see the JU06A icon in system prefs and bring up the prefs panel?

With batteries installed, all of the battery operated Boutiques will behave in the way you describe - ie. turning usb power off and then on again will leave the Boutique powered off, requiring a recycle of the Boutique power switch. To get the behaviour you want in the studio, just remove the batter...

Looking at pics of the inside, it looks like it’s a through hole component that would be easy to replace - if you can find a source for the part.

Just checked and I'm seeing the same. Thought to myself that perhaps randomising the kick could make a pattern unmusical, but it seems to work for the other equally dominant drums in the kit.

Your problem with Clap may be caused by where you have your Ride.

I'm a MacOS user, so I can't test this, but I think the way you can get around this in Windows is to hit the F8 after power on until you enter the Boot Menu.
