Re: Lifetime keys

If you already have the Roland Cloud Manager installed, you can see the price of each instrument (not sure about Zenology as I never use that one).

Re: Boutique Prices

Nice round up from the OP. I have two JP-08s, two JU-06s (wish I’d sold them a year ago!), a JX-03 (amazing and the best of the originals, although seriously lacking in user patch slots), the TRs, TB and SH01a. I prefer the TR-08 to the Behringer RD-8, although I prefer the Behringer TD-3 to the Bou...

Resolved:Very confused now with Roland Cloud Manager

*** RESOLVED *** Just to update in case anyone else has the same issue. As a former - but not current - subscriber, I could not update my Roland Cloud Manager (RCM) to the latest version from within the older RCM. It kept prompting me to renew my subscription. As advised above by SoundReverend (than...

Re: Very confused now with Roland Cloud Manager

Can you go here - if you still have an account: https://www.rolandcloud.com/catalog/essentials/roland-cloud-manager to download the latest version? Thanks :-) I’ll give it a try. Update - unfortunately it still has the same issue. Roland Cloud Customer Support are looking into it for me. I wonder i...

Very confused now with Roland Cloud Manager

Hi all I am very confused now. I subscribed for 2 years and during this time, I earned enough loyalty ‘time’ to permanently own a couple of the VST’s, irrespective of subscription status. I cancelled (or paused?) my subscription a few months ago and things were fine for a while. However I recently u...

Re: What’s coming next??

^ regarding what’s cool about the JX8P. Nice two oscillator (DCO) fat analogue synthesis from about 1984/5 if I recall. The synth on its own needed to have a PG800 programmer attached for multiple parameter access but capable of lush pads, fat basses, incredible brass stabs and lots more. Long overd...

Re: New Boutique - JU-06A

A reissue of a reissue !! These might not be on a limited run - see the Sonic State interview with David Arklund (no doubt I’ve spelt it wrong) where he says they probably won’t be limited. Hope yet then that the Boutique range lives on - and could be others in the future! Disappointed though that 4...

Re: So is that it with the Boutique line?

In terms of new models, who knows, but I think it's getting close to 2 years since the last one was announced (the TR-08 if memory serves me correctly?). Only the D-05 has made use of the DCB architecture. Perhaps they haven't sold enough of these to justify further DCB development. If this is the c...

Re: UPDATE: Loyalty Program Discontinued!

I have contacted their customer service team and asked if I will be eligible for two more 'keepers' once I hit the two year subscription milestone in August. I'll let the forum know what their response is once I receive it. Last night I got a response back and was told very succinctly: "That's...

Re: Roland TR-09

/\ totally agree - if you need a fully fledged competent, cutting edge drum machine in your workflow, the TR-8 and 8s are better value than the Boutique drum machines. If, like me, you just want to own something which offers an authentic user experience matching the original icons, whilst looking a ...

Re: UPDATE: Loyalty Program Discontinued!

Hmm, a bit annoying really. I'll be up to 2 years subscription in August, having originally joined the 'Yours' program. Although if I remember correctly, only one plugin was originally supposed to be given after a year - and they gave me two. But what worries me about long term investment here, is t...

Re: Roland TR-08 - volume control on back of unit not consis

/\ yes, really like the SH-01a. SE-02 was a bit too pricey at the time.
I also have 2 x JU-06, 2 x JP-08, JX-03, TB-03, TR-08 and TR-09. None of them have this issue. The SH-01a is the newest at just a year old. Seems like a few faulty volume pots have made it out there....

Re: Roland TR-08 - volume control on back of unit not consis

Hi, I have the same issue on my SH01a which was manufactured in March 2018 (according to the date stamps on some of the casing components). I bought it in June 2018. I have to use a bit of tape on the volume knob (which is very loose) to keep the sound level up. Without this, the volume dips, but th...

Re: Roland TR-09

I don't know - but at the same time (and completely unqualified with zero insight), I personally don't think they will. The original marketing concept behind the Boutique range was that they'd be on limited production runs - kind of implying that they too, will become collectible at some point. Of c...
