Hi, this is a small update after almost four years... If you check the original blog post you can see that there were some bad side effects (not harmful though) of the hack. Does the JD-XI have parts? Yes. I have both synths and from what I understand they are using the same SN-S engine. Hi there! I know, it's low cost ... It's ugly... And not nice at all... but works on PC/Windows10x64! It's need an installed JRE8 or above on your system... and nothing else. I can't test it on OSX, but there is some chance to work on MAC too, becouse the low level parts of the application are JAVA...

Thanks for the reply I see the columns in part view under the keyboard tab but cannot even access them to switch them on. I try to but it just moves to level/pan tab. The red ring around the encoders are super misleading. The industry norm is that if a pot/encoder is not continuous, that is, it has a start and end point, then it is normally marked with dots... Awesome thread, especially the replies from Steve :) I just want to add that, if you have little room for Integra patches in user memory, you can always keep the "source" patches (the files you download from Roland) on your SD card, ready to import when you need them, and overwriting patch...

Nice work so far! 6-8 pots is probably best for something like this. That way you have enough to cover A,D,S,R,depth, and velocity response for the envelopes, and with too many pots it gets bulky and confusing. Building it into a strip the width of the JD-Xi and mounting it to the back so it "...
