I currently run it that way but you get both outputs all the time, cant separate them as far as im aware. i use USB for recording and the Analog outs for my actual speakers. hope that helps!

Hey man! i would definitely buy it - especially if its around the $50-$60 so im not sure if that suits you - but for me the more controllers and gadgets the better :) especially if its made for JDXI!

thanks for your work man, before i buy this app and give your templates a go, how does it connect to the JD-XI? cable? do i need a midi interface with the phone / ipad? thanks heaps mate

awesome! im a fan of hardware controllers and if i can end up with a thousand knobs that control every aspect of this beautiful unit and not a PC in sight id be very happy - good luck man!

sorry brother i dont have an answer for you :( - i DO know however the ARP on the JD-XI doesn't work when i connect a midi controller - perhaps its tethered to the keyboard bed that is on the unit - i dont know for sure though mate sorry i cant help.

I bought mine in December - it seems ok - i don't thrash at it though and i have a few midi controllers i plug into it for extra range etc. I spend most of my time on the JD-XI itself, i did change the velocity to soft though as I'm not a piano player so maybe that affects play style and hardness on...

i tried to use it and then i realised i really have no idea what im doing :)
i couldn't figure out how to import it or assign it and stuff,

ended up sticking with ableton cause it just.. works.
