Thank you,
do you find this screen useful? The screenshot on the manual passed me the impression that it can be a tad confusing using the microscope when comparing to the Fantom G series...

Microscope feature on FA series
I google'd it and didn't find much info, I saw at a Roland promo video that the FA series has the microscope feature from the Fantom G series... I never actually used that, but my main interest would be editing notes position, deleting notes, like on a DAW piano roll.. So I'd like to confirm that th...

Re: Sub output
Well, Roland support didn't answer my question regarding USB audio and the sub output (for I sent the query to a region I happen not to be in)... If anyone can answer, can I use the "full" output (not parts) to both main and sub outputs simultaneously? like, If I have the Roland connected ...

Sub output
After listening to a few demos I'm terribly keen on buying the Roland FA-08. More specifically, I watched some youtube videos with all the synth and bass sounds from the FA08 and really liked what I hear. Now I'd like to connect it both to my computer and to an independent monitor set, directly...So...

Re: USB Audio + another interface
that is amazing, so you actually got USB Audio from the Roland while using your own interface? I didn't even find the ASIO4ALL thing in my system so this looks like a long road.. I see what you mean, in theory you should be okay to do what you need. The FA transmits audio & MIDI at the same time...

Re: USB Audio + another interface
I just would like to use the USB connection to transmit the FA-08 audio to my DAW, using my current interface and not FA-08's interface...for various reasons, including converters, inputs and proximity to my monitors... I researched a bit and found no answers really, seems like perhaps using ASIO4AL...

USB Audio + another interface
Hi, I'd like to use the FA-08 audio over USB feature, question is, can I use this as an input channel in addition to my regular USB interface? Or I need to fully use the FA-08 audio interface when I enable USB audio? Also, is the audio quality as good as the Analog (|TRS) output? let me know please,...

Volume control for outputs 3/4, 5/6 in Octacapture
So, I'd like to use another set of speakers with a second amplifier in addition to Main Outs 1/2. I read the Octacapture manual, set Mix A to outputs 3/4, 5/6, tried both, but realize the "Main out" knob only controls the volume for outputs 1/2. I tried editing mixer settings in the softwa...

Noise floor (loud) when Octacapture is turned off, connected
So, I was using Dynaudio monitors, switched to a separates setup... Everything was smooth with my Octacapture. I switched to Yamaha speakers + Parasound HCA2200II amplifier, using XLR cables, and everything continued fine. Today my Crown XLS 1500 amplifier arrived and everything was running fine, un...
