Re: Help please! Fa 06 Studio set.
I've had a lot of problems that seem to be over ployphony, but ends up being all I need to do is resave the studio set and everything starts working again. I don't know what's going on, but looks like might be a software (firmware) bug, me thinks!

Re: Question about Master eq and some patch
Thanks.... I think that my Roland is defective... :-( You also might want to apply the latest firmware. What does Roland think the problem is? I wrote the local settings out to System, turned if off/on and they stuck! So I can't tell you why your settings didn't keep totally. They should have. I be...

Re: Problems with usb from computer
...There is some "grounding issue" with JP-08... You might need to use a passive (not active / powered) hub as an isolator between the mac and the JP-08, or between the JP-08 and anything that it plugs into via USB while it is powered. Other than that, a poor adapter circuit could be the ...

Re: What to choose: FA-06 or FA-08?
How many loops at the same time can be played? Are loops managed via sequencer or via pads? Loops are controlled by the sequencer. Pad triggering can also be controlled by the sequencer. If you don't use any samples while looping (or up to 4) it shouldn't be a problem. I wanted to have a song loop ...

1. I do not think you did what you said you did.CgBlonde wrote:Please, help.... :)
2. My trumpets sound fine, but if you set your gain to +5 they might just sound a little bit crunchy, especially if you press on the keys a little hard.

Re: Sequencer Song full!
Thanks, but that doesn't seem to work. Can I find out if there is a loop? I haven't put one in. If I get a midi monitor, what's the maximum the sequencer can take? I think we're talking about two different things. I'm talking about a midi hardware loop. I have seen on the forum where this was recom...

Re: Limitations of the FA-08 (although it is awesome!)
I know this is an old post, but the FA pads can be velocity sensitive when they are triggered by the keyboard by the sequencer in pads mode. Just thought others might want to know this. :)geeman wrote:Quinnx. wrote:...Already knew the FA pads weren't velocity sensitive...

Re: Updated fa-08 anytime soon?
I forgot to ask though... why do you need to control an Integra-7 when the FA-06 and 08 have an Integra-7 pretty much built in? All of the Axial tones for the Integra-7 work on the FA workstations. In addition to what's been mentioned -- running 6 expansions instead of 2 -- your polyphony is also d...

Re: Sequencer Song full!
I don't think this is normal... 25 measures? I think you have a midi loop somewhere that might be maxing out the FA-08. You could turn off midi thru and see if that works -- otherwise something that's nice is a midi monitor to watch the midi notes as they are being sent through the cables. If you've...

Re: What to choose: FA-06 or FA-08?
What to choose: FA-06 or FA-08? I own the FA-08... but your question seems to be FA-06 or nothing. Good synth sounds: yes Supernatural Ac Instr: yes Simple/reliable: yes Build quality: ok Loops -- that's where it ends, sort of! Sure, you have 4 banks of 16 pads to trigger 4x16 samples, but only 4 p...

As I've read somewhere before, I believe, aftertouch can be implemented using a pedal.
Hope you're enjoying your FA-08... I'm getting ready to enjoy mine. ;)

Re: Running TB3 on USB battery?
Hi all, Newcomer here. I've read a couple of places that people are successfully running the TB3 using a USB battery/charger/powerpack - making it super portable... Thanks in advance, It's mostly the spec of the TB3 that are important: Power Supply AC adaptor, or obtained via USB port (USB bus powe...
