Re: TR-8S trigger pattern does not respect last step setting

Ok that’s not good. You should contact Roland.

Re: TR8S feature requests

I also wish when you imported a single sample file it wouldn't go back to the utility menu so you have to press import/file and search for the folder all over again just to import another file from the same folder. It would be much more convenient if it stayed in the same folder to just click anoth...

Re: TR-8S : 2019 Feature Request

b]B : Melodic sequencing on MIDI output[/b] : To be able to send a sequence to an external midi synthesizer in a better way (I think the current implementation is useless). Good point. I especially agree with this one. The pitches of the melodic things you have made with Coarse tune (melodic bass l...

I agree for about 400-450 euro you buy a used real one. The boutique one sounds quite close though.

Re: I got my sources yo

I base it on info from a roland product reviewer who actually works for Roland. Yes of course someone who works for Roland says it is better......marketing wise the new product is always better. It would be strange if he said the old product is better. I guess we will know when the comparison video...

Where do you base that on? I highly doubt that the TR-08 sounds better than the TR-8. It is the same technology. Better ABC sounds to me more like a Roland advertisement trick than actual fact.

Re: TR-8 SP-404 support and sample rate firmware update 1.50

A question about this update:
I am running Osx 10.6.8. Can I still use this update? It says it needs Osx 10.10 minimum.

Re: Aira TR-8 vs Boutique TR-08 + TR-09

I think it is highly unlikely that Roland brings out a CR-78 kit (or any other expansion for that matter) for the TR-8. Seems like they have completely abandoned the product like they do with most products. I would be really surprised if there ever comes a new update or new expansion for the TR-8.

Re: Aira TR-8 vs Boutique TR-08 + TR-09

I still love my TR-8. From what I hear from youtube videos I am not that impressed by the sound of the new Boutique TR-08. Doesn't sound any better than the TR-8 to me (maybe the TR-8 sounds better...). Same goes for the TR-09. So if you already own the TR-8 I see no need to buy the Boutiques.

Re: Is Aira dead ?

I hope not. Still waiting for some new updates or expansions for the TR-8. Doubt if that ever will come. When I bought it the sellers argument was that there would be regular expansions coming from Roland. But in all those year only one expansion (7X7) came. That's kind of disappointing. I think Rol...

Re: Future expansions for the TR-8

Good suggestions. My wish list: -More pattern storage!!! 16 patterns is very very little...64 patterns at least. -Improved delay and reverb. The delay and reverb don't sound good IMHO. -Poly rhythms like the Arturia Drumbrute has. So separate step lenghts for each instrument. So we can do a pattern ...

Re: Future expansions for the TR-8

Not sure what you are getting at. This topic is not about free expansions. it's about future (paid) expansions or software updates. Right it seems as if Roland has abandoned the TR-8 since it has been a long time since there were any updates or news from Roland on the TR-8. But I hope I am not corre...
