Re: Odd question about the piano sounds on JD-Xi

I use the Roland Fantom Xa and A-49 keyboards and have no problems with velocity. It's simply a matter of adjusting the JD Piano patch.

Re: 5 stupid questions :P

Open the image below, it is from the okJDXiEditor and highlights all the Output Assignments and Send Levels. Just play with all the settings to see how it all works. Also check the drum kit partials, as each partial has a Output Assignment and Send Levels as well, this makes for some massive drum so...

Re: 5 stupid questions :P

Each instrument part has separate send levels for delay and reverb which can be adjusted, but the actual settings for delay and reverb are global.

Re: Odd question about the piano sounds on JD-Xi

Edit the piano sounds by turning the low pass filter off, reduce the Amp velocity sensitivity and set the PCM waveform gain to +12dB. Check out the "okPianoStrX.ds" file at okdev.org.

okSequencer for macOS

I have taken the sequencer from the JD-Xi patch editor and made a much more capable standalone application which automatically connects to any and all Synths available on a computer. Synths with built in sequencers will benefit most from this especially JD-Xi, JD-XA and System-8. Connect them all at...
