Mine arrived today and they look great. Question - Has anyone tried to remove the original covers / plates? My FA 08 was sent to me used and the clear screen window was severely abused with deep scratches / gouges. I see the new overlays come with a clear window, so I was wondering if it's possible ...

How about the shiny left panel that is labeled "FA-06", and "FA-08"? Are you including that panel with the set, and if so, how are you handling that? Having a run of each?

So that feature as implemented is more of a feature for a DJ, or Hip Hop preformer? That's disappointing. Though I guess it does have some utility such as the "Time" example, or a continuous drone.

Interested at the right price...

Watching this as I bought mine used, and the output level seems somewhat low on mine also.

Is there a test that can be done to determine if the current output is within spec?

Yes, I'm aware that splits can be done, but was referring to the samples mainly. Would the Fantom also be limited the the "Axia site " samples only? Would I find what I want in the " Famous keys pack?

Just watched a video were a user was able to load T5, and DX7 samples ( not sure where they came from), on his Fantom them split all of them across the keyboard to do a cover of a classic cover song from the 80's. IT sounded perfect! Can this type of thing not be done on the FA series? I very intere...

I don't see any third party stuff, or cover how to's from other owners? I was think that posting either standard, or altered presets, or from scratch creations...
