but i think, you must be connected to the pc with synth to enable this utility.

Roland Product support ( Ed Diaz ) has produced a new help video which shows how to link up a Roland JD-Xi via midi so you can change Programmes and/or Sounds via a separate Roland FA06 keyboard/synth. He is going to do a further one that goes on to actually play the sounds on the JD-Xi on the FA06...

I have an
Fa06,
and JDXA
and Casio AT-3 (200USD, the cheapest but WITH SONG SEQUENCER).

I believe Roland must revise the software inside the FA06 and JDXA just to include the song sequencer.

It is only a simple software issue.

I can't understand why they missed it. We, users, do need it!!.

If you select import SMF menu, it will ask you a file. Put a midi to the FA. Then you 'll see it in the sequencer ; )

Fa-MidiOut to XA-Midi-In (cable 1)
Fa MidiIn to XA-Midi-Out (cable 2), but couldn't go further for more.....

Thru is not an effect man.

It means pass through as it is. No effects

i seen in a video that you can make massive 16-part patches from the supernatural engine. a bit like the JDXA but no analogue but more supernatural parts (16 vs 12) has anyone done this? do you get an LFO per part? i also read that you can control the FA via the JDXA front panel. i don't have a JDX...
