As a workaround, you could use one of the instrument channels to use as a trigger out. Then the last step option DOES work

More fx (like all instrument fx) on the external input would be great. Also the ability to truly split the inputs into 2x mono with separate sidechain/fx settings per input would be awesome.

i don’t think we will see a System-16 or something like that soon. Maybe another plug-out synth with a completely different layout, more suitable for the D-50, JD-800 or JV-1080. But it will complement the System-8, not replace.

They could still do Jupiter-4 or Jupiter-6 plugouts. It makes sense to expand the collection, since it makes Roland Cloud more attractive (which brings in a constant supply of money). Both of those should work on the System-8. What I really want is the JP-6 bandpass filter. If they did do a Jupiter...

Try powering up the S8 while holding down the pedal. This might flip its polarity. Maybe you can then set the settings to default

With the TB-03 being a perfect midi controller for it, it should be really easy to compare them, because the controls keep synced after tweaking a bit :)

Yes the problem only appears on MX-1’s with old firmware. It is fixed with 1.05
