Re: Line 6 POD HD-500x on synths.
Thank-you. I actually have the Behringer unit in my studio. It is an amazing unit for the price. I even use the compressor on the vocal recordings coming in. I was looking for an all in one performance style multi pedal. I guess I should have mentioned that it will be performing double duty for my g...

Line 6 POD HD-500x on synths.
Any thought on using the Line 6 POD HD-500X on my System 8. I have gone back and forth on this. I love the Strymon pedals and Electro Harmonix stuff looks good. The Leslie brand digital pedal looks really good as well. But one recurring theme. They need a pedal board, patch cables, and more money fo...

Re: TB-03 vs TB-3 - your thoughts?
I really don't have any deep thoughts. But if I just wanted the TB-303 experience, I would go with the TB-03. If I was vested in the AIRA line as a whole performance unit, I would get the TB-3 for interface purposes. The TB-3 to me is more of it's own instrument and not really a TB-303 clone.

Re: Roland RD-800 & Classic Rock Band
All I can say is that is a lot of piano for band just getting started with keys.
Re: Templates
It would just look cool. But what a hassle for live performance.

Re: System-1 Power Supply
It is so easy to get a hold of the proper Roland power supply. I would not use that one. It is not even close to correct. That was punk move on the seller including that power supply instead of the correct one.

Saving patches
I had a question about saving patches. I notices that I can only save S8 patches in the S8 section and the same holds true for the Juno and Jupiter sections. I usually like to free up the first 16 patch slots or so with my edited sounds for live performance and easy access. Can You save a plug out p...

Re: Why should I get a System 8
If I had an XA I am not sure I would get the System 8. But I had to choose, I would choose the S8. I am falling in love with mine.

Re: 2 piano in one, It works!
Well of course, and it is easy. Just take two patches, probably should be the same piano sound, perform a split and transpose them with in their parts. I used to do this all the time on my Juno Gi. You can even do this just in the part section.

Saving sounds.
Guys what is the best SD card that we know will work for sure in the S8? What is the MAX storage the S8 can handle? I would like to save the keyboard and all settings to SD card for future backup. I am reading the manual and getting ready to program sounds for my band. Are you guys over writing perf...

Hey guys just got the System 8. The OS is 1.11 but no Juno 106. Do I have to load this separately from the Roland site? Thanks

Re: Sustain problem with Juno Stage
It is probably a quirk in the Juno Stage. That board had some weird issues throughout it's run. There is probably steps you can take to make it the same every time.
