Thanks for your response. Yes, it needs a driver so the Mac's MIDI setup can recognize it.

I can't find the mac driver for the RD-700. It's not the 700 SX, DX, GX... just 700. The driver isn't on Roland's site.How can I reach someone at Roland to help me?

I have an RD-700 (not SX, GX, etc., just plain 700). The driver is not available on the Roland site, and the driver for the other models doesn't work with the 700. Advice on reaching someone who can help?

OS: Mac Sierra 10.12.3.
