Re: roland d110 eprom -->d10 eprom

Another thing my D-10 has, wich seems to be an improvement on earlier models, is that kind of heatsink over the CPU, that I have not seen (yet) on others D-10. It is visible on the picture I put. I don't think that it is a heatsink - to me it seems to be a clamp, holding the cpu in its socket. I we...

Re: How to create Split Bass/Drums with Kick at Middle C

Hi latoyabb, I would recommend that you re-post your question as a new thread under a new appropriate heading if you want to get the maximum focussed attention and response. You may want to delete your post due 'latoyabb' was obviously a spammer - in 3 (of 4) posts he had 'hidden' advertising links...

Sounds good... :-)
Maybe one fine day a person with a XV2020 chimes in and is willing to test the driver and report back the result...

You're welcome!
I trust the driver works ok for you.
Due not owning a XV2020 I haven't tested if the driver will work! So to all people wanting to give this driver a shot: you'll use it at your own risk...

Re: SVD2SYSX for MSDOS - Anyone have a copy they can upload here?

Back in the 90s, there was a freeware DOS app called SVD2SYSX that allowed conversion of SVD files to SYSX for the Roland XP/JV series. Does anyone have a copy they can upload here? All traces of it are dead online! No, not all - as I wrote to your similar post on Gearspace: https://xoomer.virgilio...

Damn' SPAMMERS!

Why is it seemingly so easy to flood the rolandclan forum with all that fuckin' illegal crap? Sorry, but I don't get it!

Does there exist no filter to check for certain buzzwords on incoming posts?

Man, I'm really upset...

Re: VR-730 and FCB1010

Hi Sepi84, no, that's not possible! Both expression pedals do only generate a MIDI data stream. They don't work as 'common' pedals do. But it may work via MIDI - eventually you have to assign the desired function/controller to work via MIDI. Please have a look to the MIDI implementation chart of you...

Hey everyone, thanks for your continued reporting of spam posts. We try to get them cleared out as soon as we can, and I know we've had quite a lot lately. Keep reporting 'em and we'll keep zapping 'em. Will do! I hate to see spam all over the place - regardless of the forums. Due being a mod mysel...

Re: Load single sounds into Roland D50

THANKS A LOT!! I was thinking of using Roland UM-ONE MK2 USB MIDI interface, which hopefully works better than "el cheapos" (I couldn't find out the size of it's internal memory). I actually still have my very old midi interface but it cannot be connected/installed in today's computers. T...

Re: Load single sounds into Roland D50

Hi there, first I highly recommend is to save the sounds you want to keep to a computer first! You never know... ;-) Next thing is: use a dedicated editor for the D50/D550: http://www.d50librarian.co.uk/home/ Best is: that application is free of charge ! :-) You can transfer your soundbank from the ...
