Cubase drum maps for FA-06/08

Hi everyone, I've been having no success finding the drum maps for Cubase when needed, so decided to create those myself. I think these can be converted into other formats (haven't tried yet). Help yourselves to download if you need. If you find any problem there please let me know. Zip includes dru...

Re: Controlling Studio Set Effects from DAW

You just automate (As you normally would) the Midi CC messages:- CC91 = Reverb CC93 = Chorus But you're right, some DAW's support the standard Midi CC's for external instruments much better than others, Logic Pro for example, includes Volume, Pan, Chorus, Reverb, Filter Cutoff & Resonance/Frequ...

Controlling Studio Set Effects from DAW

Hi Everyone, I have another silly question here. Trying to find how to control the send levels of Studio set effects (Reverb and Chorus) for an FA instrument track in Cubase. The Cubase's standard mixer has only the channel volume and pan controls. these don't appear to be in Automation tracks eithe...

Re: Main analog audio output to an amp

... if there was cable interference, surely that wouldn't worsen with the volume knob on the FA being increased, would it? You are right. I tested this again carefully and found that the FA's volume knob has no effect the hum at all. The hum increases when I increase the monitors volume. So this mu...

Re: Main analog audio output to an amp

you must use balanced TRS cables as the FA requires this. I use van damme cables as they are great quality and the heads are not too heavy to put pressure on the output connects of the FA. sounds like you have a ground loop within your mixer. Which you need a ground lifter. I use the behringer one....

No, there is nothing plugged into the FA

Main analog audio output to an amp

Hi everyone. When I just bought my FA I have used a cheap audio cable to connect it to my mixer. I had some hum from the speakers and was sure that this is due to the cable. Then I bough a pair of good (short - 1m) mono jack cables for each channel separately. but the hum didn't go. When I put the m...

Re: Where do the FA sounds "come from"?

The Supernatural sounds on the FA are limited to what it ships with, the only way of adding new sounds/pcm waves is via the EXP expansions on the radial website . And as they're using the older PCM based format they won't sound as good as the extended Supernatural palette found on the Integra, but ...

Tones from Integra-7 Backups

Was looking for more supernatural tones than are posted in Axial and came across this site - http://www.bossus.com/support/knowledge_base/205492526 It says that " The FA-06/08 can import Tones from Integra-7 Backups or from Integra-7 sound sets on the Axial website. " Does anyone have and ...

Re: Where do the FA sounds "come from"?

Are there any other sources of Integra7 Supernatural sounds apart from the Axial?
I need some realistic acoustic instruments like vibraphone, flutes or sax but I could not find those on axial as it seems to offer only synths tones.

Could someone please share where you can download all these from?

Re: Is it only one MFX (effect) per track?

What else should Roland do for a mid budget synth? BennySeven You're right, we are trying get maximum out of this little beast, but I must admit it all depends on application. For a live stage performance where you usually need 1 part you have a plenty of options of tweaking the sound and it is per...
