Yes, It appears that I was wrong with the high / low push pull position 2 position encoder!! - The encoder should go up in 10's when its button is pushed in and that's it, nothing fancy its just a pretty standard component !! Looking at this... the pcb looks identical to the one shown on the 5080 encoder genesis92 thread.... although its got a different part number !! both.JPG My hunch is that there is a resistor or a diode inside the high/low switch and button switch to combine both functions.... lets see..... Anyway......
