Re: V-Synth - or...

Yes, OSC from V-Synth XT has some bad aliasing. But Synth Engin are outstanding settings for Sound Desing,
Vocoder and FX Slot the highest quality studio sound ever!

Great Arp & Seq menu navigation and big nice Patch management :)

unique Synth!

Re: Is it time to sell my 106?

Buy second hand two Roland JU 6(8 Voice) for 500€. Sound like real 106 and sound better than System 8 /106 Plug out for me.

And still have money left over for Moog Minitaur Sub Bass Monster or/and Juno Alpha 1 :)

Re: axial / new user patches

Nothing has happened, Roland must find a solution to get out of this gridlock for System 8 (1550€).

Roland JD Xi (500€) has many good things to offer! Best the best value for their money.

Re: how much patch memory

Yes, only 64 Patch System 8 are poorly implemented!

Time for OS update"Use Shift and Patch to 128 Slot" like System 1 :)

Roland, "comes into the horseshoe" fix it!

Yes, sure...wainting for a better OS for System 8 and more fuktion for shift button! Better Patch save for SD Card! Look at new Novation Peak! Roland support are very bad :( 1. Saving a performance should save any edits but leave the reference presets alone (the JP8000 did this perfectly) 2. Additio...

Re: Roland Cloud 4.0

No midi learn function for Fader, Controller or Button and all VST GUI are ugly.

A lot of CPU Power for System 8 / Juno 106 and Jupiter 8 VST Plug ins.

Feel by an annual resetit, needs to be optimized much!

Like U-he or Native Instruments (midi learn function, low CPU Power & VST GUI)
