How to obtain Roland virtual synth to use in a DAW
Does anybody know how to obtain a software synthesizer from Roland? I read that Roland Cloud offers various software synthesizers and I wanted a JUNO-106. But I could not find out how to get it. I have created an account and opted in to a free trial where the JUNO-106 software synthesizer should be ...

Roland VT-4 Voice Transformer Companion Application
For users of Roland VT-4: I just created a companion application for Roland VT-4 Voice Transformer. It unleashes its full potential with 8 variations rather than 4, editable variations rather than just fixed presets plus a user interface that is easier to use than the front panel of the VT-4. It is ...

Re: VT-4 Voice Transformer SySex Issues
You have set it to ON, not OFF. Data value 1 is for on, 0 is for off.
Your SysEx should be like this:
F0 41 10 00 00 00 51 12 10 00 00 02 00 6E F7
Your SysEx should be like this:
F0 41 10 00 00 00 51 12 10 00 00 02 00 6E F7

GP-8 Guitar processor editor for Windows 10
Hi all! I have an old Roland GP-8 guitar processor that I find a little hard to edit. So, I wrote a Windows 10 store program for it, and decided to give it away for free. It is available at Windows 10 store. Just search for GP-8 and you will find my Roland GP-8 editor by MrMartin. Hope you like it, ...

Re: INT/EXT select buttons with Pedal Control
This depends very much on what synthesizer you have, and its possibilities. Study the manual, see if there are any accessories that can do that. If not, then it depends on your skills in microcontrollers, programming and such. But that's an entirely different story. There are a lot of hobby projects...

Re: Using CC Controls for Individual Drum Parts
CC control changes are sending to a channel, and all your drum sounds are normally on the same channel, most often channel 10. So, all sounds receives the same message. The message carries two bytes (I am pretty sure you know this already) control number and value. So, unless you have a means to cha...

SuperNATURAL Acoustic Tone instrument parameters mismatch
I discovered some differences regarding the SN-A instrument parameters. The sound list lists 256 SN-A sounds. The parameter guide lists 127 SN-A sounds, but I found 128 in my I-7. Mandolin was listed as one instrument, but was actually two, MandolinGt and MandolinStum. Ok on the missing Mandolin, do...

Re: New Question 2: Hearing the sound of several parts at
But make sure that your controller does not send any program change. Whatever changes you send on that channel will affect all parts, and if you send e.g. a program change, all parts will have the same sound. Regarding hand claps and other sounds, there is a sound list at Roland download site: https...
