What's up D.U.Soul?
Backup and system restore. There's no reason for this happening. You know how to route the parts to individual outs, and outs getting "progressively" louder is fishy behavior. let us know how it goes. cheers

<t>Maybe try a different power outlet in your room to plug yer X into. Are you using BALANCED audio cables? Also try a power extension cable to tap into an outlet on a different circuit breaker in your pad. If the buzz goes away, it's a ground loop......ya gotta love the 60 cycle hum....NOT!! ;>}</t>

Re: Slaving the Fantom X8's Tempo Clock to Another Device
I absolutely LOVE the X's sequencer. Some folks complain about it not being able to do "swing", but I've found it can and will if you have quantize setup right...or can PLAY it like that.
Get in there and sequence something. Help is waiting if you need it.

I second the 1 gig CF suggestion. I am currently using a 512mb CF, as my 1 gig CF was taken over by my camera.

<t>Z, I do all of my sequencing on the X6 BEFORE I record. I use the X6 to sequence AND play/control 2 other synths, as well as some internal sounds/samples. Once i get the song completed I run each output of the external synths and the X6 to the inputs of my Yamaha AW16g(multi-track recorder). I se...
