In the manual it states that midi data received at the USB port can be sent to midi out 1, I made the setting (actually it was already set to ON) but note data is not sent out of the din midi port 1, just clock and transport.
Has anyone successfully got this to work?

Re: New Roland MC-707 Review
I agree @A23P patch storage independent from project is a big omission, I sent some feature requests to Roland about this kind of thing and also the poor zoom options in Zenology Pro (which have since been fixed) so hopefully if enough users bring it to their attention they will address it.

Re: Externally sequencing the MX-1
@Archem - Where there is a will there is a way! Great idea to use PC scenes as a way of sequencing the MFX amount and type, the lack of a direct CC for these was a bit of an oversight on Rolands part but your workaround is the next best thing ;)

Re: Boutiques with MX-1 : Bad latency
12ms is actually very noticeable on fast attack sounds and percussion, consider if you were to layer 2 sounds with fast attack on different midi channels if one of the devices had 12ms of latency and the other did not you’d certainly hear it, it will sound smeared, try it yourself and see what you t...

Re: Boutiques with MX-1 : Bad latency
@Chug Norris Seems that my earlier observation of experiencing no noticeable latency on my setup was wrong, after watching your video I did a quick test of my own, and the results were similar to what you have reported. Here was the setup used: JX-03 connected to MX-1 audio via USB with power split,...

Re: MX-1 and TR-09 / TR-03
I have 4 boutiques connected but you need usb power splitters for ports 1,2 and 4 since these are unpowered. It sucks that Roland did not have the foresight to either allow the MX-1 to power the boutiques or at least to give the boutiques proper psu inputs so that the usb could be used. Also be awar...

Re: Has anyone from Europe got their SE-02?
It is kind of funny how Roland always prioritize USA over Europe, then you see the products seem to be sitting on shelves in US stores apparently not selling very quickly while Europeans are waiting for paid pre-orders. Best idea for European customers is not to pre order and request a better price ...

Re: Boutiques with MX-1 : Bad latency
Are you talking about latency into computer OP? I do not use a computer and have zero latency with any of my boutiques, I use usb y splitters for the power and audio over usb, and have the master outs of the MX-1 direct to monitor speakers, everything is very tight timing. If you are going into a co...

Re: MX-1 Aira USB ports not processing MIDI note messages
I just heard back from Roland UK (nice quick response) and they are going to look into it, so if you are in the US, Canada, Europe, Asia or elsewhere might be worth contacting Roland support for your country and requesting that midi notes and control data are sent out of the Aira USB from midi din i...

Re: MX-1 Aira USB ports not processing MIDI note messages
Yes 5 pin din midi is where the problem is, I am not using a PC and I do not want to use a PC. So lets say I have a hardware midi sequencer connected to the MX-1 5 pin din midi in, the MX-1 can sync to the hardware sequencer, so can any aira or boutique synths connected to the aira link USB ports, B...
