Re: The FA Sequencer
I do not find FA sequencer particularly spectacular. The song/track clear is only possible when you stop playback/recording and it SUCKS for live use. You can only use the Erase range/Erase All function while recording, but it is time consuming – imagine doing it for the long MIDI track that you wan...

Re: Best B3 sounds?
Air DB-33 Tonewheel Organ Simulator plug-in is working for my needs. I can quickly achieve the sound and changes of the sound I want using modulation and some MIDI event programming in arrangement and the sound is really good. I find it much better than B3 or any other organ on my FA.

Re: low sound from the main outputs
You should use unbalanced cable, since RCA connections are unbalanced. Going from balanced output to unbalanced input shouldn't be an issue, however.my amplifier has rca inputs. what cables should i use?

Re: New to the Forum, New to the FA-08
....If I spent very much time with the RD-2000 I think I'd have had the same reaction too - I believe they all share the same keybed.... RD 2000 has way more natural piano feel (PHA-50 keybed) – it's their best key action right now, a combination of wood wood and plastic. :) See https://digitalpian...

Re: cover for FA-08
Thanks everyone -- had a horrible accident with a beer spill in a bar with my previous keybaord (i wasn't the spiller), but i'm sort of thinking none of these covers should be counted as a defense for THAT but they'd still be useful for the grime of my basement. I'd say the cover I posted about in ...

Ableton Live 10.0.2beta8 and FA controller issues
Hey all, Here's the problem I am having with the latest Ableton Live 10 beta. I created a new (default from Live template) live set with 2 empty MIDI tracks and 2 empty audio tracks. I then loaded an external sample to a free clip slot on an audio track 3 and started playing it looped. Now, as soon ...

Re: Official Integra-7 Editor - Working with the FA
I donwloaded it, and tried both plug-ins folders (under user and under system) and it didn't give me any messages saying it was incompatible with the system (which other tend to do). But I couldn't find it in anywhere in Reaper or Cubase... Check, maybe it's in the sub-folder "Roland" in ...

Re: Official Integra-7 Editor - Working with the FA
Yeah i tried that in the past and it was pretty basic. I've linked to the modified plugin here:- http://www.getpatched.co.uk/forumattachments/Integra_FAMod.zip This rocks! And it works for me, confirmed! If only I was able to load and save user presets... Also doesn't seem to recognize new sounds i...

Re: Official Integra-7 Editor - Working with the FA
Wow! Kudos! I am all in and very much interested to check it out! Please! Do you use Ableton Live with Max for Live? About EQ/Reverb/etc. parameters per part – there is a M4L device called Roland FA Control that can control parameters such as Reverb, Chorus, Cut off, Resonanse, etc. that I think you...

Re: Best Electric Piano sound in the FA?
I guess the SN sounds are fabulous, but Uncanny Valley - almost hyper realistic - I don't hear that amount of click and bell in most recordings. But I'm going to go back and try to compare some tonight. Sorry, do you mind sharing info which of the presets do you find hyper realistic, I'd like to ch...
