Re: Is it possible to use rd 2000 with its sounds into a DAW
May I suggest you post this question on http://forums.musicplayer.com/ubbthreads.php/forums/18/1/The_Keyboard_Corner ? People there is definetely knowledgeable and there must be somebody that will be able to answer this question. FWIW I do not think what you want to do is possible, i.e. mixing MIDI ...

Re: New user struggling with first Roland keyboard
I guess (and hope) Roland will release a firmware update that will address some of the issues found along these months since the last update. A system saving the pedals configuration is certainly one of them.

Re: New user struggling with first Roland keyboard
I'm a one month owner and am having a similarly frustrating time getting to know this instrument. What I find particularly irritating is the impossibility of editing and saving a tone. I did not understand this. You may edit the programs and save them as a new program in one of the vacant (user) pr...

Re: New user struggling with first Roland keyboard
One advantage I see is you can align your favourite programs in one scene bank. Another one is with this alignement, you may program a sequence of scenes with different combinations of layers of the same program and switch between them either manually by pressing the panel switches, or by using the ...

Boss FS-7 Dual Footswitch - Can it be used with RD2000?
As in the subject. I am thinking of using it in the FC inputs to change program/scenes.
I was thinking of a DIY but the mechanics of it is practical and attractive.

Re: rd2000 and aftertuch
As he said.
It is not a common feature in digital pianos (though RD2000 is on steroids).
If you look at the user manual, you will not see any reference to aftertouch. If RD2000 had it, you would and I am sure Roland would do a LOT of noise about it. :)

Re: Is it possible to use rd 2000 with its sounds into a DAW
As nobody has answered as yet... Is the DAW capable or processing audio data from an external USB audio interface? If so, than the answer is most probably yes also for the RD2000 as it works as an audio interface for the PC (both ways, i.e. in/out I suppose). There are drivers you must install ( htt...

Re: Organ expression
Is it the case that I have to create patches and store in the programme section and thereafter select the Ext setting to control volume. I'm affraid so. As you can see in the question I posted a few days ago, I am also looking for a similar answer, so far without success. Maybe in the future Roland...

Re: Organ expression
Do you mean the expression pedal to control only the organ layers? Just guessing here but you have to set the organ layers for which the expression pedal should act: Press "Menu" and : Zone Edit->INTERNAL->PEDAL SW and select only the zones you want the pedal (e.g. EXT) to control. I hope ...

Default pedal behavior
I want to set the default pedal behavior to e.g. scene up/down for FC1/FC2 or EXT. I know how to set pedals on System configurations, i.e.: Menu->System->System->Pedal Mode and change mode from PROGRAM to REMAIN and write new configuration back to make it the new default. Is there a similar way to m...

Polyphony and "voices"
Specifications state SuperNatural Polyphony is 128 "voices".
What is a voice in this context?
When more than one zone is active, is the number split between active zones or these also constitute a voice?

Variable decay on strings with damper
Hello,
Is there a way to control decay per damper pedal state? I would like a shorter decay if damper is not pressed and longer if pressed.
Thank you.
