Re: Jupiter-X editor (build 369) can't connect to Jupiter X
Solved ! After some communications with Roland support they adviced me to do a factory reset twice and set again the USB to Vendor and also set ‘TX edit’ to ON under the Midi settings and tadaaa everything works fine again !!! Thanks to Roland support I’m again able to edit my sounds through the edi...

Re: Jupiter-X editor (build 369) can't connect to Jupiter X
OK here's a small update as it still doesn't work for me. I did completely reinstall Mac OS 12.5 Monterey after erasing the disk, installed only the driver 1.0.2 and the Jupiter X Editor build 369 and same issue. The Jupiter X appears in the list but when selected and pressing the button to launch t...

Re: Jupiter-X editor (build 369) can't connect to Jupiter X
Are you connecting directly to the Jupiter, or through any sort of USB hub or dock? I have found that those will often stop communication. If that is not the problem, you need to put a trouble call in to Roland Backstage. Hi DesertBoat, Thanks for your reply, it is directly connected through an usb...

Jupiter-X editor (build 369) can't connect to Jupiter X
Hi All, I just have updated my Jupiter-X firmware to 3.01 and drivers to 1.0.2 on my MAC Pro 6.1 running macOS Monterey 12.4 and although I can see the Jupiter X appearing in the list of Midi Input/Ouput devices (as you can see in the screenshot attached) nothing happens when I click on the editor b...

Re: Jupiter-X/m Editor released
Hello Jupsers, Unfortunately I'm again facing something not working, the editor for Jupiter X. Although JupX has Firmware 1.43 and set to USB Vendor Mode, the editor seems to be installed and available in my Library according to the info in my Roland Cloud Manager on my MacOS 10.14.6, but I don't se...

Re: USB Midi Driver not working OSX 10.14
Hi all,
Just to let you know that the issue was caused by the driver from another midi interface (midiman midisport 2x2). After removing it and its driver all is fine.
Have fun with your Jup-x(m)'s all !

Re: USB Midi Driver not working OSX 10.14
Yeah I think you're right, it's quite a setup to search every USB installed driver version from other equipment which might be causing the issue. I already see the versions are not always available in the system report... - Presonus StudioLive 32 Series III - MOTU 828 MK3 (USB/FireWire) - Access Vir...

Re: USB Midi Driver not working OSX 10.14
Windows 10 is doing it right...bot Midi and Audio drivers are working at the same time... I did already factory reset the engine and Have you tried a complete reset of the board? Sometimes clears up weird behavior. 1. complete backup to usb 2. reload the latest software (1.30) 3. factory reset 4. re...

Re: USB Midi Driver not working OSX 10.14
I was more thinking about this part of the sequence: What is shown in the Audio Devices and the Midi Studio windows of Audio Midi Setup? I can imagine I'm not the only one having this issue ? This does seem to be limited, as many of us used 10.14 successfully for a while before upgrading, so there ...

Re: USB Midi Driver not working OSX 10.14
The USB drivers have worked well in both 10.14 and 10.15 for many users. Did you follow all the steps to in the readme file to complete the driver configuration in Audio Midi setup? You mean like...the steps below which I did already twice step by step by the book...even after Factory Reset of the ...

Re: USB Midi Driver not working OSX 10.14
Same here, on MacOS 10.14 when on VENDOR, USB audio seems to be working but no mid through USB while when on GENERIC mode, Midi seems to work but no audio anymore... Or we are missing something (maybe this is by design ?) or Roland might have screwed up on the driver but this is pretty annoying. (My...

Re: Piano sounds on Jupiter X
I use the RD piano on the Jupiter X and made a little modifications on them for my taste. Its ok for piano sounds but its not great. The other option is looking at the Expansion software on Roland Cloud that you can download on the Jupiter which includes Stage 1, Stage 2, and Grand Piano. I am curi...

Piano sounds on Jupiter X
Hi all, Of course this machine has been build to be used as a simulator of analog synths in the first place, but I tried this beauty in a music store and was completely disappointed in the quality of the piano sounds. I had the feeling that when you turn off all fx (reverb, chorus, etc) and you play...
